A Turkish restaurant distinguished by its dishes and service.. There are outdoor and indoor sessions, and there is air conditioning. Reception, service, smile and welcome 👍 Delicious dishes for Turkish food lovers.. Kofta, shawarma, iskander, kebab and meat pie are all👌 I recommend it to anyone visiting Colmar… Prices are acceptable. What I didn't like was the hummus, very plain, and also the Sprite drink (it's not Sprite, but it's similar to it). Worth a try

I had the opportunity to stop at Anadolou, a restaurant presenting itself as focused on traditional Turkish culture. I would like to point out that this opinion takes the context into account: I am obviously talking about the Colmar Christmas market, version 2023. In a word, this experience was worthy of a return to basics, an obvious passage in this country which has built the legend of 'a menu seen and reviewed but never surpassed by time or competition; We are talking here about the kebab, a real social phenomenon which has broken the codes of a classic gastronomic industry, with a revolutionary formula anchored in the genes of Turkey since the Middle Ages. The historical parenthesis completed, time for the story, even if the term fairy tale would perhaps be better suited. From the outset, Anadolou’s welcome is pleasant. The two main vectors of smiles are present: excellent reception and relevant decoration. The latter deserves a good point, the mosaic type lighting fixtures are varied in color, they provide a very pleasant atmosphere with several light sources. Furthermore, the main room is a real gem in terms of atmosphere, with all kinds of ceramics, a legacy of Mesopotamian archaeological excavations dating from the Uruk or Obeid period. Quickly, we still found carpets, paintings, loupiotes and plates recalling the inspirations for the creation of this establishment. Then, a clear map with precise explanations presents itself. In case of doubt, hesitation about asking the waiter for clarity on the meals is not an option: the latter was more than rare in sympathy these days. A social treat. I opted for a Kofte dish. My sister for a classic Doner. My mother, new to Kebab-type experiences, gave in for a Doner with tomato sauce. I remind you that here, the meals are on plates, in direct confrontation with the modern codes of the current Kebab industry. The wait being short, the happiness growing. In front of us: three plates that can be described in a simple way: they are fabulous. A burst of color and we are in ecstasy. The different components of the meal are delimited, for a more functional and rigorous approach. This is a generous portion with 5 (or even six if the artisan bread, aside, is counted) different items. Not to go on too long, each one has its specificity which makes it useful for tasting and the quality is there. I still imagine the cook literally playing with the food like a conductor directing a troupe of experts. A real masterpiece. THANKS. I'm not going to dwell on the dessert, cooked to perfection with aromas of chocolate and vanilla present, to my complete happiness. In short, Anadolou is a restaurant not to be missed during a more or less short visit to Colmar, the Alsatian capital of wines and henceforth of Turkish cuisine. I highly recommend.

This is one of my favourite restaurants among the large number of eating places in Colmar. The owner manages the restaurant himself, and is extremely friendly and welcoming, even if the place is full to bursting. The food is great, a large variety of typical Turkish dishes, well prepared and cooked. A special mention for the icecream with orange flower and honey. Not to forget the cosy interior, in Turkish style.

The restaurant is aptly named “Anadolu”, the decoration and the menu took us on a journey. Top notch welcome and service. The meals are excellent.

Exceptional restaurant insured trip to Turkey. I had the opportunity to taste extremely hearty dishes at a more than reasonable price, Fine flavors as well as very reasonable portions, and the owner is extremely kind I recommend 100%

28/09/2024: Great recommendation! The restaurant is very authentic, from the food to the decor to the service. The food was super tasty, the selection was great (also a lot of vegetarian + vegan) and the waiting time was very short.
16/09/2024: Similarly to the woman who posted last week, I just happened by the restaurant while out for a pick up meal in the rain. I’ve been in France for two weeks and the Tangine chicken was the best meal my wife and I have had yet!
