An excellent meal in this restaurant with homemade cuisine.
In photo, the temptation formula with the Grand Lac tartines, Tom Sawyer, and Planted Stick. The accompaniment: potato and salad.
The crumchy dessert: delicious without being too sweet!
It was delicious ! The plates were empty. Adorable and smiling servers.
A very nice address to recommend!

While passing through Lille for two days, we stopped at the Back Country. Pleasant welcome and fast service, nothing to complain about on this point. For the cuisine, however, some northern specialties and toasts. My boyfriend chose a Welsh, served without egg and with mainly a layer of oil on top, as a result of the shopping he didn't digest it at all and felt ill during the night. For my part, I chose a salmon toast, dry, without seasoning which was nothing extraordinary at all.
For vegetarians, be aware that it is not possible to remove the ham from a toast 😉

Oh my, there are people... With or without reservation. Varied dishes (burgers, pasta) and some local dishes (carbonade, maroilles, etc.). Friendly waiters. Go there if you have a place!

Good traditional northern restaurant.
Not a bad choice but reasonable enough for there to be quality. The raw vegetables with half a tomato placed on the plate, I think it could be improved..
Dry bread in the trays.
But otherwise good restaurant.

Hello to you, the hinterland of old Lille
I would like to tell you that we had a very pleasant time with Raf as a waitress who is a welcoming person, very smiling, friendly and finally magnificently beautiful.
To talk about the cuisine, the menu is very interesting with very reasonable prices for wonderful quality.
