On a weekend getaway with three cousins, strolling through the streets of Mirmandes, we were drawn to the shaded arch of Café Patine this Sunday, September 12th.
We feasted on eggplant parmigiana, prawn risotto served beautifully, a lovely Chardonnay to top it all off, as well as a delicious mille-feuille and a rum baba that was perhaps a little too soaked. Highly recommended.

We came here for dinner last December and it was so good we decided to stop (on our way back home ) to repeat. This time food was good (nice foie gras, good also the lamb) but it lacked the spark of originality and creativity that the December menu had. Similarly, service was fine and professional but not comparable with a few months ago.

Less than satisfactory experience! Compared to previous reviews, our lunch was off. The pasta with summer truffle was drenched in balsamic vinegar, which does not match the truffle dish at all. The truffle was completely undetectable!
The Italian tartare seemed to have been garnished with ketchup, which was totally unnecessary!
Too bad, but unfortunately true!
