Au Ble Noir sur La Bernerie-En-Retz

Absolutely perfect. We dined at Au Blé Noir for the second time and, just like our first visit, it was simply perfect and excellent. A truly unique crêperie that should inspire many with its almost gourmet cuisine.

Don't look for the traditional buckwheat galette here, but rather a whole range of dishes prepared around this grain: our table thoroughly enjoyed the buckwheat risotto, accompanied by cuttlefish, fresh mushrooms... superbly cooked. There are also tapas and desserts that can be served as buckwheat galettes, which are also gluten-free... A lovely establishment, a warm welcome, and a kind word from the chef at the end of the meal to thank us for our feedback... A truly wonderful place with finally some original dishes! Also excellent ice cream, a bold choice in this cold December: the Chartreuse/Chocolate sundae is fantastic!

We were looking for a simple crêperie, but we found a fantastic restaurant! The dishes are sophisticated and refined, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is warm. We were very well received with our 2-year-old son; he already had his cutlery and booster seat before we arrived. Thank you for everything!
