Amazing authentic restaurant, in the middle of Strasbourg. The building holds some important history back to 1861. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the hotch poth dish, which was a mixture of meats marinated for sometime and cooked very slowly, with some vegetables, spices and covered with potatoes which melted in your mouth. The service was quick and very friendly. Thank you ❤️

Excellent food, a menu featuring typical Alsatian cuisine. It was truly delicious. The location is also worth the trip: it probably hasn't changed much in 130 years. Warm welcome. A very pleasant evening.

Wonderful restaurant that seemed to be full of locals. We had a wonderful lunch and the atmosphere was comfortable. The food was comforting on a cold day, along with a 50cl of local wine. Highly recommend! The service was friendly and prompt.

Beautiful setting (though not entirely to my wife's taste). Excellent food for both of us. Ask about the restaurant's history and you'll have a pleasant time.

22/06/2026: We loved this restaurant; it's welcoming and serves chef-prepared dishes. We were always very well received. The dessert was divine, and everyone tried a different dish. Everything was delicious.

18/05/2026: The hotel provided a very warm welcome, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Special mention goes to the housekeeper who kept the room well-maintained and even provided an extra towel. However, the breakfast was disappointing for the price and lacked vegan and halal options. I was also a little disappointed to find a cracked and stained bathtub/shower, rather than a walk-in shower as shown in the photos for the superior double room.
