Au Bourguignon du Marais sur Paris

The house specialty, the Boeuf Bourguignon, was exquisite. The restaurant comes highly recommended.

I stopped by late one night after arriving from the airport. I was greeted kindly by the manager and waiter. However, I feel the service started slipping from that point onwards. I ordered the 6 escargot and the beef Bourguignon. The reason for 4 stars for food is the escargot. They were tender and delicious in the butter. However the beef in the Bourguignon was rather tough and only one piece was the tender beef you'd be expecting. It was quite disappointing. The potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and bacon all okay. Sauce was tasty. Service started slipping at the escargot. I was delivered the starter and the waiter said "hope you enjoy and I'll get you some bread right away". I wait and eat some snails. I pause around my 4th and look around waiting for the bread. No bread on its way. And as you will know the butter goodness the snails are in would be delicious on bread. I eat the 4th and 5th snail, still looking around for bread. I find another waiter and ask for bread. Finally he says "yes of course". I get the bread, the butter has congealed a top layer by this point and I finish my last snail. I do wonder if it was the late hour or end of their shift, but then I see my original waiter tend to other tables much more attentively than mine. I find it strange. I had also finished all my water and it was not refilled for several waiter visits. I don't know if I'll return. But if you do come here, I recommend the escargots.

Had a lovely last dinner in Paris. Lovely staff and the food was on point! WE’ll be back.

Beef bourguignon was to live for!! The ceviche was also gorgeous. Had better onion soup but still very nice. All flowed well. Great service and atmosphere.

My wife and I tried the daily menu, choosing the appetizer and main course option (from €25 each). We were very satisfied! We paired it all with two glasses of wine from the excellent wine list. The service was courteous and prompt. We highly recommend it!

It was delicious~ Don't order the kids' food* but the galbitang and octopus are tasty.

A wonderful and spectacular experience! Their specialty, the tartare and onion soup, were excellent. We loved everything. The staff was friendly and fast!
