Au Brasseur sur Strasbourg

My parents and I come here occasionally during happy hour, and it's always been great: friendly servers, attractive prices, and good tarte flambée. However, I went back with some friends, and it was a completely different experience. The servers were incredibly unfriendly. They offered the terrace to everyone in front of me in the queue, but when it was my turn, they refused, even though there was still room. The wait to get the menus and have our order taken was quite long. I received a dirty glass and politely asked for it to be replaced, but the server practically snatched it from my hands and came back with another glass, this time without ice or lemon, as if to "punish" me for bothering him, even though it's their job to check that what they serve is clean. I'm giving it 3 stars overall because I really liked the place, but I won't be going back without my parents. I spoke with a friend, and she had the same problem with the unfriendly waiters; on top of that, they tried to rip her off during happy hour. Avoid this place if you're a young woman because they really treat us like idiots.

Very good! The price-quality ratio is fair.

I'd only recommend this place for a beer; the food is terrible. We ordered the pork ribs with barbecue sauce and spätzle (they tasted like they'd been reheated, and the ribs were cold). The sauerkraut was tasteless. It was three dishes with a bottle of wine and a cola, and €85 seemed incredibly expensive for the awful food. The waiter was friendly but a bit rushed. We didn't order dessert because the food was so bad. I wouldn't go back. The atmosphere is nice enough to go with a group of friends for drinks.

Excellent! The taste is traditional and authentic. The Coca-Cola is very special and delicious. I recommend it!

Delicious tarte flambée. We arrived at 11:30 am, so there were no service issues. But we returned at 3 pm to buy a beer gift set, and to our surprise, several servers walked right past us without paying any attention. We ended up leaving without the beers, which was a shame for them... Otherwise, the craft beer and the food were very good!

Regionally adapted food, not always as expected, but still a positive experience! A total taste sensation! Stay just the way you are!

Beer is below average, food is not tasty, jamon and salmon taste like a cheapest one from grocery store. Atmosphere is quite authentic, location is also good
