Au Brasseur sur Strasbourg

The staff were inflexible in seating arrangements. My group of 15 had made reservations in advance, but upon arrival, we found one empty table with 7 seats on the sidewalk. We decided to split into two groups, one sitting on the sidewalk and the other inside, but our explanation was not accepted. Between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM, the restaurant was overcrowded, overwhelming the staff, resulting in slow response times. Ordering beer or getting more drinks was difficult.

A very pleasant discovery during my visit to Strasbourg. The atmosphere is lovely, and the tarte flambée is excellent for a very reasonable price compared to others in the city and elsewhere. The spaetzle is also delicious! The servers are friendly. However, the place is a bit noisy. And I was disappointed with my "café gourmand" because I was told it would include a profiterole and a scoop of ice cream, but instead, I received a plate with mascarpone cream and a tiny piece of warm apple cake... I wasn't expecting that.

The sauerkraut was good, but not exceptional. The strudel was very good. The service was quick and coordinated despite the large group, which was a big plus.

As has been the case for years, every time we're in Strasbourg, we return to our little ritual: Le Brasseur. The terrace was packed. We waited as indicated on the sign, and a waitress came by with drinks and told us with a warm smile that a manager would be with us shortly. Indeed, we had a wonderful time enjoying the usual delicious fires and plenty of beer. Special mention to the whole team for your professionalism. We did overhear some comments from people waiting at a table by the sidewalk who were complaining that the wait was too long, even though they'd only been there for 30 seconds. Even worse, some were deliberately going beyond the sign and blocking the entrance. We're in the business too, so don't change a thing! We're always delighted to come back, as evidenced by this.

We go to this restaurant regularly and are always satisfied with the food, the service, and the friendliness of the staff. I don't understand the harsh criticism in some of the reviews… The food is delicious and the prices are very attractive, especially during happy hour! I highly recommend it!

This place is VERY good. Got the beer flight, flammekueche (classic and la schmeck), and the knacks and fries. They were all very good. The knacks came with a side salad and two pieces of bread.

Bar/restaurant on Rue des Veaux. It's very large, both inside and on the terrace. The latter filled up very quickly. The service is efficient. The beers are craft. Happy Hour starts at 5:00 PM, with 50cl beers for the price of 25cl, which is exceptional. I opted for the St. Guillaume amber ale. A little acidic for my taste. A pleasant place.

Amazing beers, delicious tarts and very kind service!!

Excellent value for money and a great menu! Be aware, however, that staff can be lacking; I once had to wait a very long time on a Saturday evening…
