The service was rushed; the waiter threw the coasters on the table, and the same with the coffee. As for the steak tartare, it was tasteless and the salmon fillet lukewarm. What a shame, it used to be so much better…

Not a good experience; quite a few options were missing from the menu, and this wasn't mentioned beforehand. The side dishes were lukewarm, and the dessert plates weren't spotless, showing signs of wiping. I don't recommend this establishment.

Le Pic Assiette

11/03/2026: A wonderful experience at Le Pic Assiette restaurant in Vesoul. I spent over two hours at the table and everything was perfect: generous and authentic home-style cooking, including excellent chicken with cancoillotte cheese. But beyond the food, what truly stands out is the welcome: simple and warm. You feel comfortable, you take your time, and it becomes a genuinely human experience. In a time when many restaurants are alike, it's a real pleasure to find an independent establishment with character. You can also sense the artistry, the passion for sharing, and the joy of hospitality. I highly recommend it.
