We received a very warm welcome from Ashraf, who found us a table even though there were eight of us without a reservation. The food was also excellent!

Superb food. Great service from the young man from Marseilles, a shame one of his colleagues had forgotten how to smile! Dont let the rather inelegant toilet facilities put you off - the chef is talented.

I had the opportunity to dine at Chapeau and was very impressed. The food was delicious and great value for money. The service was excellent, especially from a staff member named Ashraf, who provided outstanding service. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely return to this restaurant.

I didn't enjoy my dish, a black pudding parmentier. It arrived cold. The wait between the starter and the main course was very long. The dining room was very pleasant. The service was very good. 2 starters, 4 main courses, 2 beers (25cl), a bottle of water, and 4 coffees: €85

24/03/2026: Very welcoming + nice decor, nothing to complain about 👍
16/03/2026: Myself and my partner spent a lovely few hours having drinks and people watching last April after our visit to the palace. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we will be going back this April. We had eaten at the palace so weren't hungry but we will be definitely having the charcuterie plate this time
