A lovely establishment, with a warm welcome and efficient service. The food, however, is more uneven. The beef bourguignon is sorely lacking in simmering time, the meat remaining firm. Conversely, the dish of the day—osso buco—is well executed, as is the flavorful pike quenelle. A decent restaurant, but the quality varies depending on the dish.

The service was impeccable, however, the bavette steak with pepper sauce wasn't tender, and the sauce was made with a type of pepper that wasn't suitable for the meat. The sauerkraut, meanwhile, was swimming in its own juices, and the small amount of meat that was there had dried out under the heat lamp for far too long. We pointed this out to the waiter and the person who took our payment, and unfortunately, aside from simple apologies, we didn't get the impression that it made any difference. As food lovers and home cooks ourselves, we won't be returning. What a shame.

A very high-quality brasserie in Macon. The dishes are delicious from appetizer to dessert. The service is smooth despite a large number of customers. The waiters and waitress are very professional and friendly. The decor is superb. We will gladly return. We came back in early December 2024 and can confirm that all the dishes were excellent. The manager is very professional and knows many great wine cellars to visit. In November 2025, we returned to this superb restaurant. The menu was a real treat. My dish was a prawn risotto, a delight. We will certainly return in the spring to also enjoy a stroll along the Saône River.
