A beautiful terrace at Beurre de l'Eau in the heart of Brantome. A beautiful sunny day, delicious and tasty dishes, and a delicious dessert. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. One small drawback: the two scoops of ice cream cost €8 and the homemade French toast cost €9.

Very nice setting, but disappointing welcome, food okay but nothing special, more than an hour's wait before the first dish. Too bad I won't be going back.

A charming and relaxing restaurant on the banks of the Dronne, we really enjoyed the local and homemade dishes at a very reasonable price, what more could you ask for?

Good food. Disappointed, however, to see a restaurant in a very touristy area not accepting restaurant vouchers, let alone holiday vouchers. A shame when you save up holiday vouchers to use during your vacation.

Very good restaurant, excellent foie gras, excellent duck confit, the only small problem was the frozen fries, a shame, and the profiteroles were excellent.

22/01/2026: This place seemed appealing, especially since I was craving a good ribeye steak, apparently the house specialty. My wife's was excellent, but mine wasn't. The waiter was certainly overworked, but not very friendly. Needs improvement
