I know this restaurant well, usually pleasant. There, we feel the end of the season..... The staff is friendly, but the head waiter lost her patience, we could hear her screaming from the other side of the street! And for the kitchen, disappointed once again by the portion of tartar sauce served with the fried fish (2 thimbles), as well as by the flatness of the pan-fried squid.

The place is very pleasant, the cuisine very good, the attentive service for a reasonable price.
The only downside: check your bill carefully because you may be charged an extra meal...with no apology from the manager who seems to be there as a "potiche".

Beautiful setting and that's it.
We arrived a little late so we ate indoors and with two children that suited us. On the other hand, eating is stuck in the toilets while there is space elsewhere and unset tables at the back are a bit limited.
The cocktails were very good and the waitress quickly took our order. After more than an hour of waiting and 2 baskets of bread we finally had our dishes which were nothing crazy. We are still looking for the foie gras in the tartare, as for the fries they are industrial and not even crispy.
Result: €75 for two good cocktails, two average dishes and a children's menu without dessert. All with no smile when leaving.

Chosen for a birthday celebration after a previous visit. Both occasions faultless. Very professional service with a smile as well. Smooth operation.
Very good food, we chose mostly fish dishes inc. river fish, appropriately, as our table was next to the Dronne where we also saw an otter!
House rosé as well as the white 'special' suggestion were good quality and fairly priced.
There is a sister resto on the other side of the river, set a little further back, which we will also visit before leaving beautiful Brantôme.
