Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the dishes were good. However, the service seemed far too rushed. We barely had time to start our aperitifs before the peanuts were removed and the starter arrived. There was a clear desire to rush through the service, which prevented us from fully enjoying our meal.
Another point that struck us was the manager's lack of friendliness towards the servers. In contrast, the younger servers, likely seasonal staff, were smiling, attentive, and took the time to chat with customers, asking, for example, if everything was alright.
Ultimately, despite the satisfactory food, we were left with the impression of a very touristy place where the pace of service takes precedence over the customer experience.

I chose this restaurant because of its good reviews, but I was a little disappointed. The dishes served didn't seem to be homemade. I ordered a cassoulet that was more like a bean soup.
It's a shame, because the welcome was friendly and the staff and service were perfect. A little more effort in the kitchen would make it truly exceptional.

I had dinner at Saint Sicaire with my wife over eight years ago. The food is excellent, and you can tell they put their heart into it. My wife asked for mayonnaise, and they refused. It was funny, but it takes a certain audacity to do that, and we had a good laugh.
I returned after so many years with my son. The manager and his assistant recognized me. Very pleasant and as welcoming as ever. I highly recommend this establishment.
