I didn't eat there, but I stopped by at lunchtime to ask if I could buy a baguette, as all the bakeries nearby had been completely sold out (I had planned to make sandwiches for the boys, but of course, I didn't have any bread!). I received a very warm welcome, and the owner, very generously, gave me a few slices of delicious country bread! So, when you're that kind to a stranger, I imagine that when you're a customer, you're well received and the food is good too. Thank you, madam.

A very pleasant terrace by the water. Good value for money with a varied menu ranging from traditional dishes to refreshing options, perfect for these temperatures. Attentive and friendly service. A great place to stay during the holidays.

Contrary to the earlier negative reviews, we personally found the service to be good. It could perhaps have been better, but they tried to make themselves understood with broken English. They did come by frequently to ask if everything was to our liking. Perhaps trying to persuade customers to order dessert or a starter, but certainly not pushy. The fish stew was top-notch! And yes, bread without butter. However, I don't find this a problem, as it is mainly meant for dipping. The atmosphere is really nice next to the Dronne with kayaking and ducks.

The place is pretty nice, but they should think about putting up mosquito traps. As for the staff, they need to explain that people are there to relax, not to watch someone clear away their parasols... Someone to handle the wine would have been helpful. Although the waitress served us, she didn't know anything about it.

Excellent restaurant, ideally located by the river, surrounded by ducks! The staff is welcoming and friendly. Just a heads-up about the service time: come if you want to take your time, which we did, so the wait didn't bother us at all! Special mention for the homemade profiterole, a real treat, thank you to the pastry chef!!

17/05/2026: The overall stay was satisfactory. A minor drawback was the surrounding noise (traffic and neighbors), as well as the lack of a welcome tray with a kettle and some tea/coffee bags, which would have been a real plus. Otherwise, the hotel is very well located and close to the free Henri IV parking lot!
04/05/2026: The hotel was well located – thankfully. We opted for a superior room at €140 per night, with breakfast at €20 to keep with the theme. The room was clean... provided you didn't look too closely at the generously stained carpet. The bathroom, delightfully frozen in time with its candy pink decor, offered the added bonus of peeling tiles in front of the sink. A certain charm, no doubt. The price, however, is firmly rooted in the present... and rather ambitious considering the amenities. As for breakfast, it was adequate but meager; we had to wait until the second day and a buffet to get anything close to what one might expect at this price. On the other hand, dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good with impeccable service. It's a shame the hotel itself doesn't live up to this standard.
