A truly wonderful overall experience thanks to the delicious cuisine. The Périgord salad, although included in the set menu, was particularly generous and, above all, made with excellent quality ingredients: a real treat. The half duck breast with mashed potatoes was equally excellent. However, the restaurant misses out on top marks due to a disappointing and poorly mixed Aperol Spritz, which seemed to lack Prosecco. Despite this misstep at the bar, the freshness and quality of the food will make us want to return if we're ever in the area again, if only for that salad!

The food was quite good and the place was pleasant, but you need time...a lot of time. It took 30 minutes for the starter, then over an hour for the main courses, and you had to insist to get dessert and coffee within a reasonable timeframe. And to top it off, the owner can't stand it when you point it out; it's not her fault, everyone comes to lunch at the same time! It's almost laughable! In short, I won't be going back.

Restaurateurs, don't bite off more than you can chew! Why not limit the number of customers? An hour's wait between courses is really long, even if the food is delicious! Yes, it was Sunday... Yes, it was the flea market... But isn't it your job to plan ahead? Thank you to the charming servers who helped us wait, and thank you for your kind gesture.

The best thing about it is the location near the river.

We ate by the river in an absolutely stunning and beautiful setting. The location is definitely the highlight of this place! We started with the aperitifs, which were very good. For the starter, the foie gras was excellent. However, we were more ambivalent about the rest: the butternut squash soup needed a little more preparation, and the soft-boiled egg was unfortunately far from perfect. For the main course, the sirloin steak was very good, although unfortunately overcooked. It was also a shame that the fries weren't homemade. The duck confit was also overcooked and therefore quite dry. It's a pity, because the pan-fried vegetables and onions that accompanied it were truly delicious! And then… what a wait for dessert! 😅 Luckily, we had the fish, the ducks, and even a little mouse to watch to keep us occupied during this long wait. 🐟🦆🐭 Overall, a rather mixed experience. Obviously, not everything was bad; some of the food and dishes were very good, and the setting is truly superb. However, a few adjustments, particularly regarding cooking times, side dishes, and service, would be welcome to make the experience live up to the venue's potential.

The setting is perfect, the servers very friendly. The service was slow in our opinion. They offer some local products. A good, classic brasserie.

Contrary to the comments of disgruntled and demanding tourists, this restaurant is highly recommended. We had lunch as a couple on a sunny Sunday, September 20th, so the restaurant was packed. The welcome and service were impeccable, provided by a young and friendly team. The service was perfect, and the regional dishes were excellent. It's worth noting that in September, the majority of customers were locals, which reasonably suggests that this isn't a tourist trap, as some reviews might imply—those reviews from people who, it seems, eat much worse at home.
