Au Fil des Saisons sur Thiviers

We stopped by with two young autistic children. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and everyone was incredibly kind. We highly recommend it. The portions are very generous, and our taste buds will remember it for a long time. Thank you again!

Upon arrival, we wondered if the restaurant was even open. The terrace in front of the establishment was empty and uninviting. Inside the dining room, you feel transported to the Eastern Bloc around 1980, with brown tiles on the walls and wicker chairs. However, the menu offered a wide selection and looked very promising. This expectation was met; the faux filet was deliciously cooked, and we were served crispy fries. You can tell the chef is passionate and prepares his dishes with care. The waitress is very friendly, which makes up for the atmosphere. Clearly, you don't come here for the interior, but the food is fine and so are the prices. Dining out in Thiviers: this is where you eat the best.

A very pleasant experience. We were warned upon arrival that there would be a long wait due to staff shortages, but in the end it went very well and we were able to take our time. The owner was wonderful, kind, and friendly. We will be back.

We had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant today. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, and the sirloin steak and roasted Camembert were wonderfully cooked. The only slight drawback, but nothing serious, was that the green beans were a little overcooked, but the fries, on the other hand, were perfectly cooked. A lovely little stop if you're passing through Thiviers. Excellent value for money, service, and friendly service.

We have absolutely no complaints after our visit this evening. The service was top-notch and the meal was superb; the meat was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. I wish them all the best and every success, because they truly deserve it.

Thank you to Mathilde and Alain who treated us to a fantastic Tex-Mex pork stir-fry yesterday at lunchtime. The appetizers were delicious with a good selection of charcuterie and salad. For dessert, there was fromage blanc, fruit, cakes, and cream – truly a wide variety of choices! This is our second visit; it's a real pleasure to come to this restaurant.

Very happy to find an open restaurant on this May 1st, thank you for the warm welcome without a reservation, I recommend it.

Misunderstanding about the menu price, which wasn't displayed, of course. The meal was decent, but the ingredients weren't fresh. The service left much to be desired. We won't be returning.

The establishment has been sold and is supposed to reopen today, March 9, 2026, but it's impossible to reach them by phone because the answering machine is full and hasn't been updated...😲
