This is one of the two best restaurants you can taste french cuisines paired with Raveneau in Ville de Chablis. Only 2018 blanchot was available. Dining In the center of Ville de Chablis, what else need i say more?

We were surprised by its place which ranks it among the first in Chablis, disappointed by the limited choice and the wait despite this between courses. Our dinner started well, but as the meal progressed the flavors faded, which is a shame.
Having eaten in other restaurants in this charming little village, we found better both in quality and price.

Unser Abendessen im "Au Fil du Zinc" war ein Erfolg. Alle gebotenen Speisen haben uns gut geschmeckt. Die Küche zeigt viel Können und auch Phantasie. Manche unserer Erwartungen wurden sehr positif überrascht, es schmeckte noch viel besser. Die Weinkarte ist, besonders was die Chablis betrifft, erwartungsgemäß sehr groß. Man braucht doch ein paar Tipps durch den Sommelier. Insgesamt ist der Service sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Sicher eine der besten Küchen im Ort!

Surprising and tasty cuisine at Au Fil du Zinc with a friendly, relaxed and competent team in the dining room. We really enjoyed this dinner.
The presentation of certain dishes in earthenware bowls is less attractive to the eye than on a plate, but keeps the dish warm and encourages the mixing of flavors, which we would perhaps have less dared with another presentation.
The wine list is generous. We followed the sommelier's advice to choose the wine that would accompany all of the dishes. Very good advice 🥂
The setting is pleasant. However, it is difficult to communicate with a little privacy when you are placed on one of the tables for two people located towards the entrance, because they are lined up.

Highlight of our gastronomic experiences here in Chablis was this evening’s meal at Au Fil du Zinc.
We tried pretty much everything on the menu and every dish was outstanding! Bags of flavour and textures and beautifully presented.
Great and knowledgable service throughout.
