An exceptional dining experience in a unique setting! ​The Discovery Menu is outstanding value for money, showcasing inventive flavor combinations crafted from fresh, high-quality local ingredients. ​A true highlight was the tomato-based starter—an extraordinary dish featuring tomato ice cream, a refreshing cold tomato soup, crisp green tomatoes from Florence, and a savory tomato cake, all beautifully layered with goat cheese. The rest of the menu matched that high standard: the tuna paired with zucchini was delicate and fresh, followed by a deeply flavorful assortment of duck varieties. ​Every dish felt like a unique piece of art on the plate, and the wine pairings were sublime. Despite being at the table for several hours, time flew by; the pacing was perfect and we were engaged throughout the entire meal. Service was equally impressive, with every course thoroughly and warmly explained in fluent English. ​To top it all off, the setting is remarkable—dining in a historic building with a creek running directly underneath adds a wonderful atmosphere to the meal. Highly recommended.

Passing through Chablis for a Burgundy weekend, we discovered this wonderful restaurant. Our first fine dining experience, and it was truly memorable. We were captivated by the six-course tasting menu. Everything was perfect, from the presentation to the harmonious pairing of each dish. We also had a great rapport with Antoine, our waiter, who was delightful throughout the entire meal and clearly knows his craft. We highly recommend this restaurant, and congratulations to the chef!

Our first time at this restaurant, which we visited without checking the reviews. Absolutely fantastic! Lovely, relaxing atmosphere, efficient and friendly service, and superb food! In short, pure bliss! A wonderful discovery! Well done! We'll be back.

Creative, occasionally daring cuisine — the tomato course was nicht but tipped a bit into “too much,” missing a contrasting element to balance it. The dessert’s cherry-and-olive pairing felt similarly ‚overambitious‘. Two service faux-pas: a fly landed in my fish wine, and the replacement glass was topped up with the previous course’s wine instead of the pairing for the new dish — had to flag it before the right wine arrived. Separately, I asked for some butter for the (excellent) bread (bread was served without butter or oil) which then showed up as a €3 charge on top of the €120/€180-with-wine menu. Inventive kitchen, but some details needs tightening - so one star missing.

What a great discovery! 🤩 The food and service are of an exceptionally high standard. It is a bit more expensive, but the weekday lunch menu is very affordable. Highly recommended! ✨🍴

We had a wonderful evening at Le Fil du Zinc. The restaurant is very pleasant, with a magnificent view, and perfect for a romantic dinner. The dishes are sophisticated and very flavorful, and the presentation is exquisite. You can tell it's a fine establishment that takes care of its customers. The wine list is impressive but perhaps a little pricey. The service is impeccable: efficient, attentive, and very friendly.

We are never disappointed; the setting is very pleasant, the cuisine refined and beautifully presented, and the service efficient and discreet. We always enjoy our time at this establishment and highly recommend it.

The family thoroughly enjoyed their lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food, service, and atmosphere made for a memorable afternoon in Chablis. A pleasant experience. The dishes are creative and well-executed (except for a bone in my pollack), but the portions could be more generous, especially for the starter (white asparagus and trout, see photo). Therefore, I find the price rather excessive for a restaurant without a Michelin star (the price is equivalent to a Michelin-starred restaurant). The staff is friendly, but the service is slow (a long wait between the starter and the main course). The description of the desserts didn't appeal to us, so we skipped them.
