Generous home-style cooking in a cozy setting with attentive staff and a good bottle of Mercury wine. They cater to vegetarian requests! Absolutely top-notch, nothing to complain about! Go for it!

Excellent meal in a lovely setting! The dishes were delicious, the cuisine refined, and the service welcoming and efficient! We highly recommend it.

A quick visit to the restaurant "Au goût du jour". The welcome was warm, and the waiter was smiling. Reservations were easy, even just an hour before service. The cocktail was a bit pricey for the portion size, in my opinion, but it was good. For the cheese gnocchi appetizer, it was tasty, although better than I remembered (this was my second time at this restaurant). The flavors were well-balanced, but the cheese could have been less runny than the last time. However, the appetizer was one of the daily specials, so it might have been a little less fresh than the first time. The other appetizer, the muffin, was very good; I recommend it. As for the main course, that was a bit of a letdown. I ordered beef with a wild mushroom sauce instead of peppercorn sauce. Unfortunately, I received veal instead of beef. Upon noticing this, the waiter acted quickly and retrieved both dishes (to keep them warm) and corrected the mistake. Five minutes later, he returned with the beef, but the pepper sauce... well, I don't hold it against him, it was still good, but I admit to a slight lapse in concentration on May 1st. The waiter nevertheless apologized and offered a digestif to compensate for the successive mistakes. A polite and pleasant gesture, but perhaps not commensurate with the quality of the dish. The kind waiter did manage to alleviate some of my frustration. The dessert was fine, nothing to report. The setting is very pleasant, and I accept the mistake. I will certainly return in the summer to experience the wonderful ambiance. A special mention for the welcoming aperitif, in this case, seasoned olives. In short, I will return for the atmosphere and the setting, but I would be cautious about the overall attention to detail and the communication between the kitchen and the service.

We came to this restaurant because we had received a gift voucher for Christmas and it was a very pleasant discovery. We will gladly return.

A must-try whenever I'm in Moulins. From appetizer to dessert, it's a delight for the taste buds; the flavors are simply exceptional!
