Au Grain de Sel sur Valenciennes

Today I came with friends from Orléans, so I wasn't familiar with the concept at all. I arrived two minutes before closing time, and the manager took the time to advise us and let us taste the sauces. A pleasant and passionate restaurateur, the kind you rarely see anymore. What's more, the food was excellent. I highly recommend it!

We arrived just as they were closing and the welcome was absolutely fantastic. Having never been to a chip shop before, the manager was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything to us. Plus, the quality of the food is excellent. Thank you again for the warm welcome, and I highly recommend it. Happy holidays!

Real fries, very generous portion, so good!

Chip shop taken over by the owners. Some bad reviews date back to a bad period. But we've been going back for a few months now and have never been disappointed. Always a warm welcome, quality products, and good service. We're happy to come back and enjoy good chips here. I recently discovered the Au Grain de Sel chip shop and it was a very pleasant experience. The facade is simple but welcoming, giving a decent first impression. We arrived just ten minutes before closing time, and despite this, the manager welcomed us with a big smile, great empathy, and a genuine business sense. Always attentive, he gave us good advice, which was particularly appreciated. As for the products, the cervelas sausage was generous and perfectly cooked: a real treat! As for the Savoyard baguette, I highly recommend it: tasty, well-filled, and above all, not dry. In short, an establishment where the warm welcome is combined with the quality of the dishes. A wonderful discovery that I recommend without hesitation.
