La Galettery sur Valenciennes

Without a doubt, the best crêperie! Pure buckwheat galettes. "Kraz" just like in Brittany. Delicious cider with top-notch salted caramel.

The restaurant recently changed ownership. The staff is pleasant and smiling, but the food has changed... the portions are smaller, and the salad—excuse me, but you can't really call it a salad... bagged iceberg lettuce, two tomato slices, two slices of prosciutto, and two slices of goat cheese... for €13.90. Needless to say, we were left wanting more. We used to love this place, but unfortunately, we won't be returning. The quality and quantity are no longer there, in my opinion. Best of luck to you all, though.

One word: GO FOR IT! We tried this crêperie and, being regulars at this type of establishment, we had pretty high expectations, but we were blown away. Seriously, these are the best crêpes I've ever had! The place is very pleasant, the staff very friendly, and the meal (and dessert, of course) was delicious! A new must-try for us in Valenciennes!

Back since the change of ownership and it's still just as good! The buckwheat crepe maker has changed and the appetizers are huge... Thank you for this wonderful time, which will lead to many more! Best of luck! A place worth knowing about.
