I arrived late as the kitchen was closing but the staff still managed to accommodate me. I had the Cassoulet and a glass of house red, and very welcome it was too! A lovely friendly restaurant with staff who care. Many thanks. 😊

Au lard et au cochon offers an excellent dining experience with fantastic quality food. The restaurant is often bustling, so we felt fortunate to secure a table. The service is relaxed, so it's best enjoyed when you're not in a hurry. I would definitely recommend it. For lunch, they offer a two-course meal where you can choose between an appetizer and main or main and dessert. The older male staff is friendly and proficient in English, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal in a relaxed setting.

The place is warm, the staff is attentive and attentive. The boss is super nice and comes to greet you. Yet we were unknown. The food is hearty, warm, like your grandmother's cooking. Value for money, don't think twice, go for it!

28/01/2024: This is our absolute favourite restaurant in Carcassonne. We have been so many times and have never been disappointed. A true hidden gem. Enjoy the shady garden in the Summer or the cosy interior in the Winter. I highly recommend booking.

21/03/2024: Very unique place in Carcassonne. The Burratina plate was excellent. And the wine selection is very good. A great spot for pre-dinner and post-dinner drinks/cocktails. The ladies that operate it are knowledgeable and attentive.
