An excellent restaurant in the center of Tours with affordable prices.
The quality of the dishes is there, with a menu (short but local) that will satisfy all tastes. Special mention to the waitress who was great throughout our meal: smiling, attentive and very professional.
An address to recommend without hesitation.

Quel bonheur de découvrir ce restaurant qui propose encore des menus le soir et non pas tout à la carte. Franchement le menu 39 € est super bien équilibré. Les poissons sont juste au top la côte de veau cuit à la perfection. Le service est simple et rapide, et que dire du dessert, un baba au rhum, comme j'en ai jamais manger ailleurs
Et ma mère qui prend une assiette de fromage qui se retrouve avec huit fromages différents du jamais, vu autant de quantité, franchement un restaurant à garder dans son carnet de notes

While passing through Tours, we tested this table on a blackboard lunch menu during the week. As a starter, 3 small prawns on a skewer on a risotto in a bowl, quite good in taste but the presentation needs to be reviewed, then a rather bland lamb meat boiled in very weak juice on overcooked semolina.
Very mixed feeling of a cuisine more "canteen" than bistronomic.
Too bad, considering that the menu is very beautiful and tempting.

We received a voucher for 2 free meals, and let's face it, this restaurant deserves praise, particularly on points not always covered in the comments. Pleasantly falsely "good-natured" welcome, well-managed service, but very professional and attentive. Far from certain chicanery postures of certain establishments. My grandmother (who was a picky restaurateur) often said that the toilets said a lot about the restaurant's demeanor. 20/20 for Au Martin Bleu! Then, the Loire fish (catfish and sturgeon) were divinely cooked, cheese platter (8!) very surprising, I'll move on to the prawns as a starter, the aperitif, the wine, what a hearty meal! Thanks to my children and Martin Bleu of course, we will come back 😉

Original and locally authentic: Excellent experience from all points of view: regional specialties with local products, fish from the Loire, the cuisine was truly refined, all our dishes were truly exceptional, original tastes and products. Everything was really refined and harmonious, and the service very pleasant. We particularly enjoyed the catfish, a freshwater fish much finer than you might think, cooked to perfection, the desserts are also just absolutely exceptional! For example, “tapped” apples and pears (a regional specialty) rehydrated with spice alcohol, a recipe from the Middle Ages, or even a dessert with candied peppers and pepper and raspberry ice cream! In short, an address not to be missed! And the prices are extremely reasonable. (Example: a complete menu of this level, at 35 euros, or dishes at 25 euros).

A restaurant recommended by the wine merchant Épicerie Dejault. A great culinary discovery with Touraine specialties (Loire fish, catfish for example), Beuchel. Fresh, tasty, well made. The boss is friendly and discreet. A cozy setting.

Excellent déjeuner avec un beau menu du jour pour madame alors que moi j’ai voulu goûter le silure rôti. C’était plutôt bon pour un poisson de rivière. Service efficace.
