Located in the heart of Sées facing the cathedral, this restaurant recalls the atmosphere of old country inns. Really nice. The portions are generous, meat eaters will find what they are looking for. Let's say that the cuisine is moderately refined, which does not prevent you from having a good time. Very acceptable prices.

We stopped to eat the typical "moules frites" and they did not disappoint us, good quantity and quality. Nice and fast service.

Je voudrais remonter la note de ce restaurant, car notre expérience faite ce 29 Juillet 2024, c'est très bien passé. Il est vrai que la longueur de la carte fait peur et inquiète. Mais les deux plats que nous avons pris avec ma femme était très bien, on n'a pas attendu tant que cela. J'ajoute une photo, à mon avis, de la planche nordique que j'ai prises qui mélange chaud et froid et qui était très copieuse. Nous avions deux solutions manger sur l'autoroute ou sortir, je pense que pour le même prix on a mangé 100 fois mieux dans ce restaurant ;-)

14/09/2024: Truly authentic hotel, well-kept rooms, apples and nuts on the bedside table, very warm welcome by Mr and Mrs, Mr is the cook and provides a wonderful dinner and breakfast with an abundance of homemade jams and charcuterie available. Recommended!
07/09/2024: The weather was cool and wet for early September when we called in Le Dauphin without booking hoping for a late lunch at 13.30. Given a warm welcome and joined the one other table of three diners. As we were enroute to staying further south a quick, light lunch appealed. We went for the fixed three course menu and a glass of wine. Served very promptly and very hot dishes. Starter of aubergine and tomato was good. I had the hake and my partner the duck main dishes! Cafe gourmande included strawberry and raspberry dishes. All good and a pleasant glass of Bordeaux to accompany it. A very traditional feel to the dining room and met our needs very well.
