Delicious French food. Cozy family-run place, the menu is small but on point. It's seems to be changing once in a while as well, it would be nice to come back and discover something new. Tartar was perfect and had right amount of seasonings. The only downside for me personally - absence of dealcoholized wine options.

Empfehlenswertes Restaurant an der Rue Nationale im Stadtkern von Wissembourg. Übersichtliche, aber feine Speisen- und Weinkarte. Elsässische Speisen, frisch zubereitet, qualitativ hochwertig, Portionsgröße sehr gut. Freundlicher und guter Service. Montags und dienstags geschlossen. Schönes Ambiente.

Very nice, small restaurant in the center of Wissembourg. Great quality of food and good selection of drinks... unfortunately the service was only moderately motivated that evening.

Très déçus. Arrivées à 19h30, on nous installe sur la terrasse avant et lorsqu'on nous donne la carte la serveuse nous précise que nous ne pouvons que commander de la tarte flambée et rien d'autre. Les 2 tables autour ont pu choisir librement la carte parcontre. Tarte flambée bonne au final. Mais personnel très fermé et pas très agréable. Ce sera sans nous!

Restaurant Caveau du Chatelet

15/09/2024: We celebrated our son's baptism at the Caveau du Châtelet with around twenty guests. The meal and service were excellent. The restaurant is located right next to the historic city center yet quiet. The children loved the beautiful garden. We had a wonderful afternoon. Thanks to the whole team!
15/09/2024: Yesterday we ate again at the 'Caveau du Châtelet' and recommend this restaurant unconditionally. We have never been disappointed, the atmosphere is very nice, there is a parking space almost in front of the door, the food and service are excellent. Even if vegetarian dishes are not on the small, seasonally changing menu, the guest's wishes are met and a new dish is created on the fly, as happened last year with the Easter menu. A reservation is definitely recommended, they speak excellent German on the phone and in the restaurant, and like every Frenchman they are happy to receive a bonjour, bonsoir, s'il vous plaît and merci.
