We were refused entry to the restaurant across the street, and they were absolutely right. We received a very warm welcome and had a delicious meal. The food was gourmet and flavorful.

The cordon bleu was insane! Cooked fresh to order with a huge layer of cheese 😁 and real homemade fries! Authentic cuisine just the way we like it. Great atmosphere. The chef and his server are lovely. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We stopped here for lunch during a weekend in Strasbourg and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We opted for the local dish of the day, Fleischkeschles, meatballs/patties with a delicious sauce, all for a very reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it!

Excellent regional fare served in a cozy nook right on the ancient barrel-makers street. Discreet and efficient friendly service. Dishes were excellent from a pumpkin soup with hazelnuts and sea salt on the creamy froth (with truffle) and a few roasted chestnut made for fall treat perfection. The beef tartare, duck breast in a cherry thyme sauce and beet carpaccio were all excellent.

Good food, but they sell us a wine that doesn't match the menu. We pointed this out. No goodwill gesture, though. It's average.

06/09/2024: Visited September 2024. Very good food, i had very good steak. Little more expensive that "touristic" places, but food is really good quality. Reccomended.

30/01/2026: We felt very welcome there! Lovely place with friendly service. Be sure to ask for the house onion soup; it's not on the menu, but it was the highlight of my weekend :)
