Generous traditional cuisine served in a typical Alsatian setting! A very good time spent with family accompanied by an excellent meal.

A wonderful little discovery in the area! 😍 Typical dishes, super friendly staff, and delicious food (including an excellent seasonal menu) 😍 There was a bit of a wait for service (the restaurant and terrace were full), but go in and enjoy! ❤️ And above all, remember to book well in advance! 😉 A fantastic experience, THANK YOU! ❤️

We had a lovely evening at Au Pied de Bœuf. On a mild summer evening, we were able to sit outside. The terrace was quite busy – so reservations are definitely recommended – but the atmosphere was still pleasant and relaxed. For our starter, we had the escargots, which were perfectly seasoned with herb butter. This was followed by a Salade Niçoise, and for our main courses, the traditional Baeckeoffe and an Angus steak with Béarnaise sauce. The Angus steak, in particular, was wonderfully tender and cooked to perfection. The wine recommendation, a Pinot Gris from Alsace, was also a perfect match for the food. Our only minor criticism: Unfortunately, we weren't informed that the kitchen was closing soon. As a result, we couldn't order dessert, which we had been really looking forward to. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful evening and would gladly return.

We received a warm welcome at Le Pied de Boeuf, and the waiter was very friendly. The starters were excellent: foie gras and salmon/avocado salad. The main courses were very generous: vol-au-vent and ham hock with Munster cheese—a real treat! 😋 The setting was very pleasant, especially on this Fête de la Musique (World Music Day)! 🎶 It was fantastic! We'll be back!
