Au Pied De Mouton sur Paris

It feels like a local favorite packed with locals. The servers were all very friendly, too. Since it is a small shop, you might have to share a table if you want to sit down right away, but I waited a little and got a table for two. I arrived late so I couldn't try the duck confit, but I had soup, steak, a salad plate, house wine, and Tarte Tatin. All the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so nice that I want to go back just to eat the duck confit. The tables are close together and it can be chaotic and noisy because there are so many customers, but I actually liked that atmosphere.

A neighborhood restaurant atmosphere, just the way we like it but don't always find in Paris! We had a wonderful meal (we discovered Ponti du Cantal cheese! Delicious!), everything was flavorful and the portions were generous. The owner and servers are lovely! A bit of a wait? They'll offer you a kir! It's busy, there are lots of people, but everyone is smiling 🤍 Lots of regulars, people chat, it's lively, it's quick but not rushed! We chatted with our neighbors; they used to come here when they were younger and... they still do! As new residents of the neighborhood, we'll gladly come back! Thank you for this timeless moment.

A typical French restaurant with excellent prices. Honest and tasty food. We arrived at lunchtime and the restaurant was full, we waited a short time and were given a complimentary glass of wine.

Cute very cosy spot. Food needs attention. My fillet of fish was overcooked and torn to pieces which made it look unappealing. The pork chop meat was ok but the skin was tough.

The food was delicious, the leg of lamb was cooked to perfection, and the apple tart was superb. Upon arrival, the manager offered me a kir while I waited for my two friends because, as a small quirk, you're seated only when everyone else has arrived and there's space. Given the size of the establishment, this is understandable. Despite a 20-minute wait, the service was very quick because our order was taken at the bar, and having previously worked in the restaurant industry, I recognize this as a highly professional approach. Once seated, the service was excellent despite the rush and the waiting crowd. I will return as soon as possible. One last point: I was shocked by the attitude of a gentleman who arrived well after me and wasn't seated at our table.

Great restaurant with a charming, traditional atmosphere and decor. The meals are served quickly and are really good. The lemon meringue pie was delicious (not too sweet and with a good lemon flavor). The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Good quality traditional french food. Takeaway option is also great value. Tartare de Boeuf was very traditional and well made.

Excellent little bistro, very pleasant. The owner exudes joie de vivre, it's a pleasure to see.

This is my tenth time eating here, and believe me… it’s my favorite restaurant. A quality bistro, expertly prepared dishes, and a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. I could eat here every day!
