Au Pont Corbeau sur Strasbourg

We were very excited when they were able to fit us in last minute. We spent $83.10 euros between my partner and I; this included 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, and 2 entrees. Which for the quality of the meal, I think it was well worth the splurge. I ordered the Riesling with an onion tart and the chicken entree. All of which were fantastic! The chicken came with a delicious cheese sauce. My partner ordered the beer/picon, escargot and jambonneau. The crust on the jamonneau was so dang good. I tried to take nibble whenever he’d let me 🤣. Personally, not a fan of escargot but this was far better than the last time I tried it. Overall, we had a great time! Got to mingle with the group of locals sat next to us - bit of a language barrier but laughing is a universal language.

El lugar es pequeño, las mesas se aprietan una contra otra, el volumen es alto y la comida es tan clásica alsaciana como se pone. Al igual que los verdaderos bouchons en Lyon o los pequeños bougnat bistrots en París, o amas u odias estos lugares... Nos encantan y nos lo pasamos genial. Our first dinner in Strasbourg did not disappoint at this cozy restaurant. Make sure to order the pork knuckle- it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had!

C’est à l’intérieur que l’on trouve de l’agitation dans ce restaurant qui semble bien connu des locaux. On y mange des plats typiques alsaciens dans une ambiance très conviviale puisque l’on partage souvent la table à plusieurs. Le service est parfait et les serveuses très agréables malgré les difficultés à se frayer un chemin dans une salle bondée. Une petite remarque personnelle sur le jarret de porc grillé qui l’était un peu trop 😉

Good place to eat typical Alsatian food, the place is very small and you can eat around people, the tables are practically close together but I recommend trying this food and this experience

Evening of great influence, tables arranged without spaces between customers, even in Paris I have never eaten so close to each other. Regarding the sauerkraut dish that we had, it arrived almost immediately. The sausages and meats served are of good quality but the sauerkraut is too acidic, inedible for those who are not fond of it, too bad....

Warm places, very friendly staff. Special mention for the unplanned happy birthday with extra Patrick Sébastien. Ps: be careful, the bottle of pinoit noir from Alsace is 1 liter.
