There were four of us. Two took the menu at 18.5, one took the shank, one the “new” sauerkraut. Excellent, warm welcome and good atmosphere. Luckily we had reservations. We also liked the muscat as an aperitif.

Sublime garnished sauerkraut. The staff is courteous and attentive to customers. The choice of menu is more than sufficient and will suit the whole family

It was just incredible! We had the impression of eating a good dish prepared by a grandmother! With lots of love, generosity! Perfect starters too! And the delicious wines!!

Our favourite restaurant in Strasbourg! They have truly the coolest patio that is semi indoors. It was such a fun setting. The staff were all so kind, and knowledgeable. From the wine recommendations to having fun jokes with the lovely waitress with the imagine dragons tattoo, this was the highlight of our trip. Food was great, wine great, everything great.

Traditional dishes from Alsace in the foreground. Overall, hearty dishes that were well prepared, especially the sauerkraut and the veal kidneys. Ambiance inside and outside very different. Definitely sitting outside in warm temperatures!

Winstub recommandé avec Emmanuel Jary de la revue, ces meilleurs quand c’est bon : le personnel est sympa une choucroute le chou un peu acide le dessert était bon dans l’ensemble…. Moyen par contre à l’addition le ticket fut chiffonné et jeter : bref je n’ai pas pu voir les détails et ça me laisse perplexe

17/09/2024: Amazing. Of course not every cheese is absolutely incredible, but the majority was. Wouldn't do the fondue, especially if you've had fondue before or regularly. But the cheese platers and the cold meat selection are amazing
14/09/2024: Obligatory stopover when staying in Strasbourg. All you can eat raclette, decadent and thoughtful cheese platters, delicious breads to accompany. It is possible to try all the bell cheeses for seasoned cheesemakers. Family and lively atmosphere Very smiling and motivated service. Reservation more than necessary.

RESTAURANT UMAMI

23/09/2024: Used to Michelin-starred restaurants, this time it was good but nothing unforgettable. And so for a Michelin star I found it a little small: arrived at the end of the meal no sweets. The owner's reason: "it's only served if you have coffee". So in this case you would have to follow through with your ridiculous approach because the table next to us only had coffee for 2 guests, but sweets arrived for both of them. In your logic you should not have bring only for the person who ordered the coffee. In any case, having come several times in the past, it is with great pleasure that we will never set foot there again.
