Good food. We tried the choucroute and the pork knuckle. Both dishes were quite big. The taste is good.
The restaurant atmosphere is missing natural light.

We had lunch and everything was perfect.
The food definitely deserves a 5 out of 5: high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and delicious.

Dare to step inside this Strasbourg institution and you certainly won't regret it. I'd been wanting to eat at this traditional restaurant for a long time—intriguing and mysterious on the outside, and welcoming and Alsatian on the inside. I now understand why it's one of Strasbourg's favorite restaurants. The Alsatian cuisine is expertly prepared and the wine list is excellent. A first visit, and certainly not a last!

We stopped here for lunch. They were offering a €21 lunch menu, which included a starter and main course. We had quiche and goat cheese bruschetta for an appetizer, and tongue with mashed potatoes and crepes for a main course. All the dishes were generous and delicious. We also had two desserts. Highly recommended. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Big on atmosphere as its quite small and tables are packed tight!! So chatting to people you dont know as you bash elbows is fun.
However the food was a bit disappointing for us, huge portions with no finesse and small menu.
It wasnt our favourite place but it was fun.
