I regularly stop by during my cycling trips for a coffee and a pastry; I'm never disappointed. I highly recommend the custard tart (one of the best I've ever tasted), but also, from time to time, I get a pain au chocolat (a delight) or a coffee éclair (extraordinary)... unfortunately, I can't try everything... thank you for your very high-quality work (it's rare these days)...

Delicious pastries enjoyed in the tea room section of the shop. Special mention for the Creole (caramel, candied bananas, chocolate). A real treat with a coffee.

21/08/2026: A very pleasant welcome. The food was simple but good. We had the daily special, crispy chicken thigh, which was cooked perfectly. We could taste the spices and even ate the skin, which was wonderfully crispy (personally, I never eat it!). The price was really reasonable, less than €14 for the dish! Plus, the lovely shaded terrace was a real plus! Thank you and all the best!
15/07/2026: Very good, the cuisine is quite simple, but there are several very different options with Asian influences. Very friendly service.

Le Grand Monarque

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.
13/11/2025: Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. The castle is a 5-minute walk away. Spacious and comfortable room. Highly recommended!
