A fantastic restaurant, off the beaten track, with excellent food. We were absolutely thrilled.

A true gem in Riquewihr! At Trotthus, we enjoyed an exceptional culinary experience. Here, fresh produce is elevated with inventive, bold, and remarkably precise cuisine. Each dish is a perfect balance of flavors, textures, and cooking techniques. The simpler a dish appears, the more talent it requires. At Trotthus, the chef doesn't hide behind artifice: everything rests on the quality of the ingredients and an impressive mastery of flavor combinations. The result is simply delicious. Throughout the meal, you truly feel like you're in a Michelin-starred restaurant. It's cuisine that evokes emotion, surprises, and makes you want to return. A huge congratulations to Chef Pierre Jauffret, whose talent and creativity deserve to be celebrated. A must-try that I recommend without hesitation.

I'm allergic to eggs and milk. The restaurant handled everything perfectly and took great care of it. The dish was excellent and the chicken incredibly tender! Even the vegan dessert was delicious! I highly recommend it!

For the price, this restaurant offers an unforgettable and delicious experience. My cousin, who is allergic to eggs and milk, was perfectly accommodated by the restaurant, which offered her delicious egg- and milk-free dishes. Even the dessert was adapted for her allergy. She loved it, as did we. The owners are very kind, and the service is incredible. We highly recommend this place.

The food was tasty, but the portions were very small, even the bread was served in the amount of 2 small slices (cut from a baguette) per person.

A quaint hidden gem off the busy main road and down a small street is where you would find this little gem. The atmosphere was great the ambiance was just what you could expect from a French restaurant. The food was delightful and staff was friendly and inviting. They have 3 different prefix menu options which give you great options and a special board too. Our meal was so fresh and rewarding not what I was expecting to get but thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend you trying and eating here if you can. Chef came out at end of meal and introduced himself and was genuinely inviting and interested in your opinion of food.

An unexpected dessert that delighted our eyes: asparagus, strawberry, and rhubarb soup with white chocolate. The chef's creativity deserves high praise, as does the charm of the place, the quality and simplicity of the service, and the excellent, reasonably priced wine list.
