The interior is very nice and the staff are lovely, but the food isn't great. Especially for the price: €17 for frozen fries and a pot of Welsh rarebit. A bit pricey.

The food is high quality, with generous portions and delicious flavors. Amazing comforting autenthic traditional food and a good wide selection of drinks! Wedged in between old streets gives a cozy local feeling but it does get crowded with a lot of seating but staff cannot accomodate timely because kitchen and bar are in small original capacity! So watch out if you're in a rush but definitely enjoy for a relaxed meal, worth the wait!

Sweet, intimate little restaurant in the heart of Lille. At the cashier, we were assigned a table number, and upon leaving, we didn't have to wait for the waiter to bring the bill: we gave the number and presto, we could pay immediately. Very convenient. The estaminet serves traditional Flemish dishes. We had a meat stew with gingerbread; very tasty!

Everything was delicious. The low-fat pate is delicious. The marual pie is very tasty, I don't like strong cheeses, and it doesn't taste like that at all. The waiter is very attentive

Delighted to have chosen this bistro for our first visit to Lille. Excellent value for money for the specialties, efficient and friendly service. The location is ideal, in the old town. I highly recommend it!

25/08/2026: Very good, we were able to eat quickly before the kitchen closed and the service was pleasant.
23/08/2026: The staff were very welcoming. Passing through Lille, I came to this lovely restaurant for the second time. The first time I was very satisfied, but this time, for dessert, my friend and I chose sugar waffles. They were incredibly dry, practically inedible. I mentioned it to the receptionist, who told me they would speak to the kitchen. I felt very embarrassed in front of my friend, whom I was treating. When you pay, I expect quality in return, and that was definitely not the case. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I recommend this restaurant, except for the sugar waffles.

22/09/2026: Passing through Lille, I stopped at this charming little restaurant. I wasn't disappointed at all by the food—homemade, local produce, simple but delicious...in short, you couldn't ask for more. The servers are lovely. If you're ever in the area...stop by! 😉
