The food is very good, with quality ingredients. However, don't expect a friendly atmosphere or warm, cheerful service.

We had the daily special and it was good. The only downside was that the fresh tomatoes in the gazpacho weren't very fresh; they were limp, as if they hadn't just been cut. The chuck roast and carrot purée were delicious. I think it's a bit pricey.

Among the best veal kidney I've ever eaten, as well as the other dishes ordered by the whole table, I recommend this bistronomic restaurant in Lille.

A superb discovery! The welcome and service were impeccable. The cuisine is refined, creative, and incredibly well-executed in terms of cooking times, textures, and flavor combinations... hats off to the chef! The wine pairings for each dish were fantastic. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience at your restaurant.

Le Porthos

22/09/2026: Passing through Lille, I stopped at this charming little restaurant. I wasn't disappointed at all by the food—homemade, local produce, simple but delicious...in short, you couldn't ask for more. The servers are lovely. If you're ever in the area...stop by! 😉
13/09/2026: Excellent service, thank you Axel!

Au Vieux de la Vieille

22/09/2026: We had a great time with friends; the service was perfect, with very attentive staff. I highly recommend it.
22/09/2026: The interior is very nice and the staff are lovely, but the food isn't great. Especially for the price: €17 for frozen fries and a pot of Welsh rarebit. A bit pricey.
