I think this place, completely charming, deserves better. The meal is very 'tourist', nothing extraordinary. We eat properly there, nothing more.

We found this address by chance on the way back from our morning hike, the welcome was there, the cuisine was delicious and the service provided by Christine was very efficient. We had a pleasant time with friends on the terrace. I highly recommend this timeless place. We will come back for sure!

Nous avons découvert ce lieu par hasard après notre randonnée matinale. L'accueil, le cadre, le service et la qualité des plats étaient au rendez vous. Nous avons eu le plaisir de déjeuner en terrasse au calme. Merci Christine pour votre bonne humeur et votre efficacité. Nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain passage à Ainhoa c'est certain !

We were served by a super smiling and pleasant lady. The staff is very responsive. We ate on the terrace at the back of the restaurant. It's super pretty. The service is fast and the menu at 28e very well served starter main course cheese and dessert really reasonable. Of course you will have to count the drinks in addition 😉 I recommend this beautiful discovery place.

08/11/2025: Wow! We had dinner at the gourmet restaurant and it was… absolutely flawless, from the amuse-bouches to the petit fours! The five-course dinner was truly exceptional. Beautiful ingredients, indescribable flavors, dishes truly worthy of a Michelin star! Special mention to the vegetable starter and the scallop dish 🤤 Thank you again and congratulations to the chef and the team who gave us a truly timeless experience in a friendly setting in the Basque Country 🫶
11/10/2025: Very nice hotel! Very well located! The staff is more than pleasant and very professional!! The €92 discovery menu with wine pairings is sublime! We had an unforgettable time as a couple! The room is very comfortable with a sublime view of the Basque countryside. The breakfast products (bread, baguette, cheese, eggs) you can tell they come from nearby or from their own farms! The only downside (if you're a bit annoying) is that the breakfast is quite limited, but I think this is explained by the exceptional quality of the products, and the "automatic" coffee machine which somewhat cuts off interaction with the staff! But thank you a thousand times for this sublime stay!

17/08/2024: Plat bien présenté dans l’assiette, mais pas très goûteux. À mon avis un peu décevant, manque d’originalité.
15/07/2024: Argi Eder est un restaurant de grande classe, situé dans un endroit calme et classieux. La salle est vaste et bien décorée mais nous avons déjeuné en terrasse, en bordure de piscine. Les menus sont généreux, plusieurs formules sont proposées, la liste des vins locaux est bien pensée, la présentation est raffinée et les serveurs professionnels. Peu à redire, il faut aussi préciser qu'il n'y avait que quelques tables occupées, ce qui a certainement facilité la fluidité du service. En tous cas une excellente adresse à essayer
