A beautiful, very clean Basque establishment, but an unfriendly owner, high prices to fleece tourists and strangely no payment by credit card supposedly because of the network while the devices in the shops work perfectly 👎

Visited on August 21. Simple and effective menu, generous children's menu as well as the adult dishes, quality products, and a team attentive to customers. A slightly distant welcome, but nothing too disturbing, probably due to the weather. Good luck for the future.

Visiting Ainhoa ​​with my two daughters this weekend, we ate at the inn. I really enjoyed your axoa 👌🏽 Fast service Thanks to the waitress who took the time to recommend a walk (in the crow's foot on the right before the descent from Espelette, my daughters were able to see pottoks in the wild; they were delighted).

Hello. A visit on August 15. Heatwave. Shaded terrace. A very good time. Service very quickly. Unlimited water. A nice touch since my daughter spilled her coffee, which was immediately remade. A little joke from the owner and his waitress. Very pleasant meal and a smile. What more could you ask for???? See you soon. We'll be back.

17/10/2025: Very pleasant service, especially from the waitress, very professional and attentive. We had a quick bite to eat and everything was good.
06/10/2025: 3 of us riding down through France and into Spain on Harley's. Stopped here for lunch. Good food and local beer Great atmosphere and very friendly owner. Would definitely come back again.

20/01/2026: An absolute top recommendation! Superb hospitality and outstanding, personalized service in all areas. Modern Basque ambiance. Quiet location on the edge of the picturesque village, with numerous impressive hikes accessible both directly from the hotel and within easy driving distance. The Atlantic coast (St.-Jean-de-Luz!) is also reachable in about 30-40 minutes. Large pool. Excellent cuisine (vegetarian menus with fish instead of meat are available; purely vegetarian or vegan options are difficult).
