A place to return to. The service is outstanding. The staff clearly know how to treat customers exceptionally well, and it's evident from the moment you walk in. They are incredibly polite and attentive. The food is a 10 out of 10, and the ingredients are top-quality. We ordered two set menus for €19.50 each and couldn't have been more satisfied. The set menu salad was fresh and plentiful, the honey-glazed ribs were melt-in-the-mouth delicious, and the casserole (you can't leave Carcassonne without trying it) was fabulous. And the desserts were absolutely delicious. Without a doubt, when I return to Carcassonne, I will eat here again. 100,000% recommended.

Excellent cuisine and service, highly recommend to go in at least to have a look . Cassoulet and quiche was perfect, also you have to try the banana desert.

A quiet and excellent restaurant. We ordered duck confit quiche, entrecote, and magret—all truly delicious. The service was very good; we were served in Spanish, so there were no language problems. We'll be back.

A super quiet spot right at the castle gates. We had the €19.50 set menu. The food was very good and the portions were just right. Although drinks aren't included in the menu (mineral water, soft drinks, etc.), in France they always offer free tap water.

11/05/2026: A very pleasant seafood restaurant in Carcassonne! I had a wonderful time; the atmosphere is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I had a bouillabaisse (which I had pre-ordered) and frankly, it was delicious: fragrant, generous with fish, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, which makes all the difference. A great place for seafood lovers; I highly recommend it! I'll gladly go back! Thank you to Eddy for his humor, kindness, and culinary talents! 🐟
10/05/2026: We dined at Gil's two nights in a row, and having thoroughly enjoyed the first evening, we decided to order bouillabaisse for the following day. The portion was more than generous for a very reasonable price. Absolutely delicious, topped off with a warm welcome from Eddy and the young waiter whose name I unfortunately didn't get. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fish!

24/04/2026: Great service. They have a nice selection of wine. The food was good, but the duck breast skin could have been charred a little more.
08/04/2026: I think this is one of the best restaurants I have been to, especially in terms of customer service. The food and wine is really reasonable, atmosphere is nice, and the owners are soooo nice. They took time to explain menu, their restaurant ,wines etc. worth visiting 100%
