Fantastic welcome, the meal was superb, the restaurant is well hidden but it was packed, which shows that people make the trip, and they're absolutely right because it's perfect from start to finish 🙏

What a great restaurant , we were welcomed warmly, the food was brilliant and the staff were friendly and looked after us very well, the owner advised us on the wines and we really enjoyed our evening, it's definitely worth the drive out, recommended 😀 😊

Everything was top-notch. In a place where you would least expect it, a little piece of paradise. Super cozy, delicious food, and top-notch service in a family atmosphere. If I ever pass through Carcassonne again, I will definitely come back. Endroit super agréable, un petit paradis à kn endroit où on ne s'y attends pas. Passing through Carcassonne, I found this restaurant near the highway on TripAdvisor. Despite a late arrival, I received a very warm welcome over the phone, so it wasn't a problem at all. A little gem hidden on the banks of the Canal du Midi, admittedly in a commercial area, but once you step through the gate, you forget everything. The welcome is fantastic, the setting magnificent, a family-run restaurant with homemade dishes, fresh produce, and very generous portions. Time stood still for the duration of the meal. A great place to share.

Don’t be fooled by the location, which indeed looks industrial, once you arrive you are in an oasis of shade and flowers. Outside seating is in two levels and space between tables is generous. Service is attentive and pleasant. Today menu is interesting and varied, wine list is appropriate. If you want to boost your appetite, take a walk along Canal du Midi.

A very good experience at this restaurant. The setting is truly beautiful and pleasant, the welcome was friendly, and the homemade food was of very high quality. We ate well and had a great time. I highly recommend it!

Passing through Carcassonne, my sweetheart chose this restaurant at random (we just looked at what they offered), and what a lovely time we had! First of all, the setting is fantastic and decorated with great taste; given the location, that's a smart move! Then, the staff and owner were very pleasant. Despite the restaurant being quite full, the wait was brisk, and finally, as expected, we ATE VERY WELL... This isn't a tourist trap like so many restaurants on the Var coast that only think about business. Here, you can feel the passion for their craft and the desire to satisfy the customer! If we have the opportunity, we will definitely be back.

14/05/2026: The Cité de Carcassonne is a must-see every time I travel through the south of France. And if there's one thing you absolutely shouldn't miss, it's the fabulous Bastille Day fireworks display. I must have been back at least ten times, and the effect is always the same: majestic. The illuminated ramparts, the explosions that set the whole citadel ablaze, the atmosphere in the city… there's something truly unique about it. Even a simple two-hour break during a road trip is enough to be blown away by the sights. On the way to the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigou, it's the kind of stop that transforms a journey into a lasting memory. 500 meters before the paid parking lots, on the hill before descending into the citadel, a strip along the edge allows you to park for free. 5, 6 cars max.
