Don’t be fooled by the location, which indeed looks industrial, once you arrive you are in an oasis of shade and flowers. Outside seating is in two levels and space between tables is generous. Service is attentive and pleasant. Today menu is interesting and varied, wine list is appropriate. If you want to boost your appetite, take a walk along Canal du Midi.

A very good experience at this restaurant. The setting is truly beautiful and pleasant, the welcome was friendly, and the homemade food was of very high quality. We ate well and had a great time. I highly recommend it!

Passing through Carcassonne, my sweetheart chose this restaurant at random (we just looked at what they offered), and what a lovely time we had! First of all, the setting is fantastic and decorated with great taste; given the location, that's a smart move! Then, the staff and owner were very pleasant. Despite the restaurant being quite full, the wait was brisk, and finally, as expected, we ATE VERY WELL... This isn't a tourist trap like so many restaurants on the Var coast that only think about business. Here, you can feel the passion for their craft and the desire to satisfy the customer! If we have the opportunity, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time; the place is lovely, and the staff were delightful. The owner is very pleasant and has a great sense of humor. The concept of a customized menu is unique and truly appreciated. This place deserves to be better known.

Walked for 20 minutes in the pouring rain to get to this place, which is quite a way out of the city. However it was worth the walk. Met at the gate by Xavier, the owner, who said only the English would walk here in this rain 😅 Xavier and his partner ( apologies, didn’t ask her name)and son, Maxmillion, were so friendly and welcoming. Tried their very best to communicate in English. The food and wine were great, though French medium rare is very different to English. The starter special was a terrine of sardines and fresh raw tuna. It was a treat. The steak was ok, not the best I’ve eaten but passable. The deserts were varied and we tried 3 different ones, all were very good. Xavier sorted a taxi for our return to the city. All in all worth a trip to this lovely restaurant. Shame about the rain as it has beautiful gardens with al fresco dining.

An exceptional experience! The setting was perfect, the welcome warm, professional, and truly attentive; we immediately felt at ease. Homemade cuisine with fresh ingredients—everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We had the privilege of dining outside as a couple, which made our moment even more special! Honestly, we left feeling completely satisfied and delighted. And what's more, the prices are very reasonable. A top-notch place; we'll definitely be back! Thank you again!

A wonderful discovery with my wife at L’Estagnole in Carcassonne! We had a fantastic evening from start to finish. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner for two. The dishes were truly incredible, bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed them! The service was also top-notch, with a welcoming and attentive team. A superb restaurant that I highly recommend; we will definitely be back!
