Great discovery for us in an enchanting setting. The gastronomic menu with the wine pairing by the sommelier is extraordinary. Let yourself be transported.

Excellent welcome, very pleasant staff. Magnificent place, cocooning. And above all very refined cuisine, exceptional blend of flavors. Food/wine pairing suggested by a professional. We highly recommend and we will return without hesitation.

A beautiful place: located right on the water, and therefore, if the weather is good, there are great seats on the terrace. Unfortunately it was raining for us, so we were able to enjoy the beautifully furnished interiors. The food was wonderful, the service excellent. But we would particularly like to highlight the fantastic wine list: very good, yet unknown (for us) wines; which we chose on the recommendation of the sommelier. The recommendations were excellent and one or two wines will definitely make it into our cellar. All in all, a great experience and definitely recommended. (Perhaps it should also be mentioned that the price-performance ratio was absolutely right.) We will definitely be back.

Trés bon accueil de la part du personnel trés sympathique, professionnel et trés professionnel. Le lieu est trés atypique, le cadre magnifique. La carte avec ses menus font saliver les papilles à lire leurs descriptions. Les plats sont superbement bien préparés avec des produits, bien frais, de saisons et avec une jolie présentation; les quantités sont genreuses en plus d'être absolument délicieux. Ce fût un moment de gastronomie extraordinaire et plus du choix mets/vins avec du supers conseils du sommelier. Bravo a vous, continuez ainsi, nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Nous recommandons votre établissement.

À chacune de mes visites dans la région, un passage à l'Auberge de la Roussille est un incontournable. Entre délectation et gourmandise, j'en ressorts ravi de cette expérience gustative, avec une langoustine en carpaccio, un magret de canard rosé à souhait et délicieux, surtout à noter la maîtrise de la cuisson de celui-ci et pour conclure en dessert un entremet chocolat exquis. Donc en un mot, l'Auberge de la Roussille est le lieu par excellence de Niort.

20/09/2024: Sorry in advance to be so harsh (and it's not my habit, you can easily verify that), but despite the excellent taste of the dishes thanks to the very high quality products used and the devotion of the staff, I cannot do the impasse on this story of a plate of cheese sold for €12 which offers a quantity that could be described as "not even enough to make a free sample". I'm not even sure there was 50g on the board, it would have been funny to have a scale... This feeling of having been ripped off destroys everything else, unfortunately, because I hate it. After kindly pointing this out to the staff at the end of the meal, they told me that this remark was very common, but the manager obviously ignored it. “You know, cheese is very expensive”: here yes, if we calculate roughly, that comes to €240/kg for the end customer, it is indeed very expensive. Customer Tip: Ask to see a sample board before ordering, and I defy you not to burst out laughing. Let's talk about prices, at the end, for: - 1 25cl beer - 1 kir - 2x glass of red wine from Roussillon - 2x beef tartare - a... "cheese plate" Total: €77
