The meals are excellent. The service is quick and efficient. They suggest various dishes, including Alsatian-style roast beef, which I highly recommend. Very good!

We had a good time 😊 The food was good and the service was pleasant. However, I was expecting a little more based on the reviews. It was decent, but it lacked that little something extra that really makes a difference. Overall, a good place, even if it's not a restaurant that particularly stood out for me. We were delighted with our experience at Auberge du Cerf this evening. The staff were welcoming, smiling, and attentive. The food was excellent, and the chef perfectly accommodated my food allergies, which is rare. A wonderful discovery and a new favorite spot where we will be happy to return. Thank you to this wonderful team.

06/08/2026: We had dinner at the Auberge de l'Écluse on Thursday evening and were more than satisfied with the food, the drinks, and the service. I would like to give a special mention to the young woman who was always on the go, yet remained cheerful and kind in her interactions with us throughout the evening.
02/08/2026: Excellent food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We discovered this restaurant by chance and are absolutely thrilled. 5 stars and more! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon ☀️

21/07/2026: Two rather disappointing restaurant experiences. Mistakes in the orders, missing items, expensive and uninspired salads. There are much nicer restaurants in Illkirch.
12/07/2026: We had an excellent brunch, which I highly recommend! The servers were very friendly and professional. The buffet was very well stocked, with a wide selection to suit all tastes, both savory and sweet. It's a real shame their hard work wasn't better received, as there were very few customers. This establishment deserves to be much more widely known!
