We had a wonderful time at the mill. Even though we arrived just as the kitchens were closing, we received a warm welcome. The meal was excellent, we had a good night's sleep, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was perfect. The setting is peaceful. We'll definitely be back to stay longer and give Biscuit some extra cuddles!

We had a very pleasant night at the Auberge du Moulin d’Eschviller. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and quiet, with much-appreciated air conditioning. The setting is simply fabulous, a true haven of peace. We also had dinner at the inn and discovered a very good restaurant, with high-quality dishes prepared with great care. The staff is incredibly attentive and truly cares about their guests' comfort. A big thank you to Véronique for her warm welcome, kindness, and helpfulness. A special mention goes to Biscuit, her adorable dog, who greeted us with such affection. It's a real pleasure to find a place where dogs are welcome. A wonderful place that we highly recommend!

A wonderful discovery! This place is nestled among many trees, making it very peaceful. The owner is extremely kind, we ate very well, and the rooms are spotless. I highly recommend this establishment.

26/07/2026: Finally, I was able to discover this magnificent spot in the Pays de Bitche region that everyone has been talking about for years, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. We ate on the terrace in a very pleasant, friendly, and family-oriented setting. The place is really well laid out so that everyone can feel comfortable, with several outdoor areas and games to delight children. Most of the terrace is designed in the style of a carousel, which adds a lot of charm and originality to the place. It was already full when we arrived, quite late for a Saturday night, which is not surprising for such a well-known and long-loved establishment. The restaurant's dining room was also quite full, which shows that many people enjoy coming here to have a good time. So we ate in another outdoor area with a few tables, which was also very pleasant, with a small thatched bar to the side. From our table, we also had a glimpse into the kitchen, where we could see the staff bustling about during service, adding a lively and friendly atmosphere. Two or three small seating areas also allow you to enjoy a leisurely aperitif before sitting down to eat. With the beautiful summer we're having right now, it's truly delightful. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, featuring high-quality cuisine and dishes that reflect local traditions. Being able to enjoy a good meal in such a pleasant outdoor setting is truly wonderful. In addition to the outdoor areas, the restaurant has a dining room open year-round, decorated in a rustic style, full of authenticity, just the way I like it, perfectly suited to this type of cuisine. A truly wonderful restaurant in the Pays de Bitche region that I highly recommend for a pleasant time with family or friends around a delicious meal. A big thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome, kindness, and attentive service throughout the meal. Everyone was so friendly and attentive to the customers. I look forward to returning soon to discover other dishes and try one of those beautiful cocktails I saw being served on the platters in the distance. Thank you again for a wonderful time. 07/08/2026: There are restaurants where you eat very well. Michelin-starred restaurants where the technique is impeccable and the ingredients exceptional. But here, we're in another league. I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively and discover restaurants all over the world. Gastronomy is a true passion of mine. And precisely because of this, with time, it becomes increasingly difficult to be truly surprised. I discovered this restaurant about ten years ago, and since then, I've returned regularly. Each visit brings the same conclusion: the chef leaves absolutely nothing to chance. Each dish tells a story. The flavors are conceived with incredible precision, the textures complement each other perfectly, the presentation is elegant without ever being excessive, and above all, there's always that "wow" factor. Not the kind that relies on artifice, but the kind that stems from genuine creativity and a constant pursuit of excellence. You can tell that here, it's not simply about cooking. It's about creating, constantly questioning oneself, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Behind every dish, you can feel the passion, the hard work, and the constant desire to surprise. After ten years, while so many restaurants eventually become predictable, this one continues to amaze me. And that's probably the greatest compliment you can pay a chef. For me, it's not just one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of discovering. It's an experience I look forward to with the same anticipation every time I visit.
