We shared a magical moment at L'Argousier. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect!

For those who want a taste of paradise, we've found it. A week ago we were floating on clouds and we'll be back.

It's a culinary delight...perfect welcome and service...we dream of returning...thank you again to the whole team...

Having tried several gourmet restaurants, this is a must-try in the region. Everything is excellent, from the welcome to the service, the atmosphere, and of course the dishes served. In my opinion, it offers the best value for money in the region.

For many years, we have had the pleasure of frequenting this exceptional gastronomic establishment, and each visit is a true celebration of the senses. The chef, very friendly and remarkably creative, elevates seasonal produce with a precision and inventiveness that command admiration. Each dish tells a story, combining finesse, balance, and boldness. The quality of the food is consistently impeccable, showcasing carefully selected ingredients prepared with rare expertise. As for the service, it is simply flawless: attentive, warm, and highly professional, it fully contributes to making each meal an unforgettable experience. A treasured address that we recommend without hesitation, and to which we always return with the same enthusiasm.

The menu was expertly prepared and very entertaining, with delightful variations in flavor and presentation. The wine pairings were a perfect match. Attentive service and wonderful hosts. A perfect evening at a Michelin-starred level. We will definitely be back.

Volmunster isn't exactly the center of the universe, but it's definitely worth a visit for the small restaurant L'Argousier, which is undoubtedly one of the best in the Bitche region. The restaurant, with its 30 or so seats, has an elegant and modern ambiance. Even the greeting is pleasantly warm and welcoming, and the service, with the chef's mother as a warm and attentive hostess, is pleasantly discreet and unobtrusive, yet always present. If you enjoy French-inspired cuisine with creativity and a focus on seasonal, regional products, this is the place for you. With two set menus offered—there's no traditional à la carte menu—you're sure to find something to your liking, especially since the kitchen always has a delicious vegetarian option available. We opted for the Menue Découvert and were thoroughly impressed. The chili sorbet with carrot purée and Parmesan was a convincing starter, and the white asparagus with vanilla sauce and sea buckthorn was delicately and precisely presented. The red tuna on eggplant cream with mustard seeds was also absolutely delicious. The stuffed quail with lovage was presented separately as breast and leg and was truly delicious. The mirabelle plum ravioli with fresh goat cheese and, to finish, strawberries with pepper and buckwheat were more than a perfect ending. We were completely surprised by the magnificent and carefully curated selection of over 100 different rum specialties. We will definitely be back.

Excellent cuisine, top-notch service in a wonderful atmosphere. A prime example of great French cultural heritage.

In a very pleasant, warmly decorated ambiance, one can enjoy high-level culinary art. Each course is artfully presented and testifies to a master of their craft. This is not altered by the fact that we didn't find the combination of salmon trout and red cabbage entirely successful due to the acidity of the red cabbage overpowering the fish; this is ultimately a matter of taste. The ingredients of each course were fresh and of high quality. This also applies to the ravioli with goat cheese and mirabelle plums, although we had expected filled and warm pasta pockets; in fact, it was a cold dish in which pasta dough was simply placed over the cheese. Despite our expectations, this course was still delicious. The service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable considering the elaborate preparation of each course and the consistently high quality of the ingredients.

Absolutely fantastic! Always a pleasure to return. An explosion of flavors and a delightful surprise every time. They cater to allergy concerns... Very friendly staff. The chef is present and truly a master. Delicious. A true gastronomic experience that deserves Michelin stars. A candle for my birthday—a lovely touch. Thank you. See you soon.
