The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The chef personally comes by at the beginning to take our order, which helps minimize mistakes. The atmosphere is very cozy and quiet, and the service is discreet, very polite, and attentive. The price-performance ratio is more than reasonable.

Couldn't we give it 6, 7, or 8 stars? A warm welcome, a breathtaking setting, professional and discreet service, amazing and surprising cuisine, dishes that are true works of art—even without a Michelin star, L'Argousier has been one of the finest restaurants in the Grand Est region for years! Even though we've been coming since it opened, we're still amazed!

A first experience for us, and what a wonderful discovery! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The cuisine was crafted with great precision: the flavors, the textures, the combinations… everything was perfectly executed. We had a romantic dinner at L'Argousier for our second wedding anniversary, and the food was wonderful… the decor was lovely, the dishes beautifully presented… my favorite was the knightfish, which was so delicious it almost moved me to tears… I could eat a whole box of those black rice chips every day 📦 ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you!

04/10/2026: If you accept the waiter for who he is, he can actually be really nice. At first I thought, "How gruff is he?", but as mentioned above, you have to accept him as he is. In the end, he was really nice and told us a bit about the mill and the restaurant. 👍👍👍👍 We'll definitely be back.
14/09/2026: Excellent welcome, recently renovated establishment, perfect room for families (two separate rooms connected by the bathroom) and very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was very good and breakfast was very generous with plenty of choice. There are walks around the inn, and if you're stuck for ideas, just ask Véronique, who kindly gave us some suggestions. We will be back!
