We stayed for a weekend thanks to a wonderbox in this establishment. We had a little difficulty finding the hostel, since we stopped at the restaurant "le cantou", when we had to find the tobacco bar which is also a hotel. The welcome was not the warmest and even a little cold. We had indicated that we were coming with a baby, but that did not prevent the hotel from selecting a tiny room for us whose door opens directly onto the foot of the bed, with no space on either side of the bed to place a stroller and Various objects. We finally managed to change rooms for a larger one on the 2nd floor. We were somewhat disappointed with the completely limescale shower screen and the dirty shower head, it deserves a little more than a basic cleaning. The room we were in was equipped with an air conditioner, a good plus!. Calm reigns in the hotel, which allows you to rest in complete peace. The breakfasts are very complete, there is everything, including cold meats or cheese, nothing to say. The meal taken at the auberge du cantou was not bad at all. The restaurant is still quite small.

We were able to enjoy a very good meal in a very pleasant setting. The room is small but the restaurant is between the waterfall and the basilica: perfect! In one location we already have two facets of orcival! The reservation was simple and efficient, the smile greeted us at the restaurant and accompanied us throughout the evening. Big hats off to the waiter and the manager because next to us a table of two people who were excessively unpleasant, poorly polite, and not very warm, the team remained very professional, smiling and warm! Honestly too strong! We used a Wonderbox voucher that we received for our 7th wedding anniversary and were delighted to use it at Cantou! Thank you very much for your welcome, the quality of the service and the very good taste of the dishes!
