A huge thank you to the owner and his team for accommodating us late into the night. We thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the cabin in the garden, which smelled wonderfully of wood and offered a refreshing escape. Excellent service, friendliness, and efficiency from the professionals at this hostel. Don't hesitate to stay here. A father and son from Le Mans.

Thank you for your reply. The truffade and blueberry tart are known to be delicious. The only problem is, when I ordered them for an afternoon snack after a hike, I was told over the phone and at the time of ordering that they were out of blueberry tart. And as I was leaving, the waitress was serving generous slices to customers luckier than us.

We arrived with 8 hikers, you know it's going to be a tight squeeze, but no problem, we'll manage! A super friendly welcome, simple and tasty food, a picnic lunch for the hike, and lovely encounters from evening to morning. Go for it without hesitation!

A warm welcome in a beautiful setting. The team is very friendly and helpful (thank you for the cold pack that healed my knee!). The gîte provides everything you need to heat up food, cook, make coffee, and they lend you comics and games. A place to remember!

We set off on a hike along the GR 30, and this was our first time booking a gîte. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and kindness of our host. Attentive and responsive to everyone's needs, I highly recommend it. The meal was simple but plentiful, including a delicious mushroom pie—I'd love to know the recipe! We had the opportunity to meet other hikers and share our experiences. We enjoyed a peaceful night in the cabin and a hearty breakfast to start the day. A big thank you!

We stayed one night at this café/guesthouse and we loved it. It was very welcoming, the meal was delicious, and the guesthouse was very quiet. I highly recommend it!

Excellent experience! We arrived without a reservation, even though the restaurant was full. The waiter still found us a table "reserved for our cycling and hiking friends." The meal was truly excellent, featuring local products and great value for money in a charming, rustic atmosphere! We poured our own water from behind the bar and left feeling energized and proud of this hidden gem nestled in the heart of the volcanic mountains. A must-try!

23/06/2026: Hotel booked for my first leg of the GR 30 hike. Lovely hotel in the village center, comfortable and welcoming. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Dinner was eaten in the evening at the restaurant owned by the same person in the village: very good, appetizing food, and the staff was attentive and very welcoming.
11/06/2026: The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very pleasant. The mattress was particularly comfortable, which greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. Breakfast was varied and offered a wide selection. However, the food could be improved. During a multi-day stay with half-board, the lack of variety in the meals quickly became repetitive. Furthermore, the quality of the dishes did not meet our expectations: several items seemed to have been simply reheated rather than freshly prepared.

12/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the reimagined, original, and delicious dishes :)) The "Patranque" - an Auvergne specialty revisited by the chef, was a delight and very easy to digest 😋
11/07/2026: An address to remember. In a pleasant setting, with a discreet yet warm welcome, we enjoyed delicious local cuisine of a very high standard at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend it; these young people deserve to succeed.
