Auberge le Donjon sur Gavaudun

A pleasant surprise. We found the address on our GPS... and it was an old-fashioned inn with quality home-style cooking at a very competitive price (€18 for the set menu)!! It's a shame, though, that this establishment will apparently be closing soon with the owners' retirement.

A very warm welcome, impeccable service, and delicious food. We were on holiday in the area and came here. We would definitely go back.

A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere awaits you at this inn, which you'll stumble upon while exploring the countryside. The cuisine is simple yet generous, with a daily menu that's unbeatable: €18 for soup, starter, main course, and dessert! A delightful stop between the castles of Biron and Bonaguil! 😉

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Friendly and efficient staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. This is the second time we've visited this establishment, and it certainly won't be the last. We visited last year, and the hostess remembered us 😆 + the garlic soup is the best I've ever tasted 😋

Fantastic! A truly charming little inn. A warm, family-run, and utterly relaxing place. A small restaurant that my wife and I were delighted to discover. Simple, regional, and hearty cuisine. What a delight that garlic soup was (I managed to have two bowls!). A no-nonsense lunch with both occasional and regular customers. We chatted with the customer at the next table as if we were old friends. And above all, extraordinary value for money at this time of year. The welcome was wonderful. A must-visit to discover the cuisine of this beautiful region of Lot-et-Garonne.
