We had a wonderful time with friends under the pergola. The welcome was warm, the food was excellent and beautifully presented, the service was very friendly, and the price was very reasonable—it was perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant; you can go there without hesitation.

Absolute gem of a restaurant! Beautiful location on the square with a wisteria covered terrace. Service was excellent and the food was formidable! Wonderful meal, catered for dairy allergy with no issues.

We came three years ago and were delighted! We returned after visiting Biron Castle and were enchanted once again! Exquisite, subtle, and refined flavors! The wine was the perfect accompaniment. We hope to return very soon with our children.

A very pleasant surprise during our stop in this village. A warm welcome. The dishes were exquisitely prepared, sophisticated, and delicious. A magnificent wisteria shades the terrace from the heat. And dogs are welcome. Thank you for your hospitality ☺️🙏🏼 and congratulations to the chef!

Auberge le Donjon

14/09/2026: We try to eat at the Auberge every time we're on holiday in the area. Update 2026: I learned that the waitress is retiring at the end of August, but I didn't have time to come one last time... If she happens to see this, happy retirement, ma'am!
21/08/2026: A pleasant surprise. We found the address on our GPS... and it was an old-fashioned inn with quality home-style cooking at a very competitive price (€18 for the set menu)!! It's a shame, though, that this establishment will apparently be closing soon with the owners' retirement.
