The Pitsounet inn is a unique place, known for its friendly atmosphere and regional menu. I highly recommend it; it's a very good restaurant at the foot of the Sancy mountain in Auvergne, near Mont Dores. Congratulations to the new owner!

The perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal after a day of hiking in the Sancy mountains!
The regional menu is ideal, with the salad as a starter to whet your appetite before tackling the truffade and its charcuterie! Delicious and flavorful, the portion size is a bit small for those with a big appetite (the dish pictured is for two people). The apple tart was perfect for finishing off the meal! With a friendly atmosphere, pleasant service, and reasonable prices (around €26 for the set menu), I recommend this place, provided you book in advance to guarantee a table!

This inn is a wonderful little find on one of our hiking trails!
Anthony and the owner are incredibly friendly. We even had a visit from the chef (which is becoming rare!). The weather allowed us to eat on the terrace surrounded by greenery.
We enjoyed the entire meal; there wasn't a single flaw. The trout was perfect, as was everything else!
The interior decor is charming and welcoming. We're going back tonight! All the best to you, and we look forward to returning to your excellent restaurant.

I came to eat with my family, the waiter was incredibly friendly, the chef came to personally check that everything was good, the owner recommended an amazing dessert, in short, if you want to eat somewhere, this is the place.

We ate there this past Pentecost Sunday; it was a welcoming place, the waiter was very friendly, the waitress was also a cook, and the food was very good. As they say, good value for money; I recommend it without hesitation.
