Everything was perfect ☺️ Walking into the inn was like stepping back in time, with the aromas of delicious home cooking wafting through the air. The decor is also reminiscent of Grandma's kitchen ☺️ A warm welcome, a perfect meal, we felt so comfortable. We'll definitely be back when we return ☺️

A wonderful discovery at the Auberge des Skieurs in Mont-Dore. The atmosphere is excellent, relaxed yet warm and full of good cheer. The waiter was truly amazing: cheerful, funny, and welcoming, he clearly contributed to the charm of the place. As for the food, everything was perfect: quality ingredients and generous, flavorful dishes. We enjoyed a truffade with Saint-Nectaire cheese, a truffade with Cantal cheese, and then the next day a fondue, and everything was delicious. Special mention also goes to the decor, artistic and full of character, with a vintage charm that gives the place real personality. An address we wholeheartedly recommend.

01/02/2026: nous sommes passe en juin 2022 , et nous y avons éte en demi pension en août 2022 une semaine , restau , hôtel , personnel et patron au top . je vous le recommande
08/01/2026: I'm a spa guest and have been going there for three years on a full-board basis. The owner, Romain, is incredibly helpful, as are the staff. Everyone is very friendly. As for the meals, I have no complaints; I don't eat better at home. Discretion, respect, nothing to criticize. Just one small drawback: the Wi-Fi quality in the rooms.

Auberge Le Pitsounet

12/04/2026: We've been to this restaurant 7 or 8 times in recent years. For us, neighbors from the Creuse region, it's the place to be for our weekends in Auvergne. And over the years, we've tried almost every restaurant from La Bourboule to Le Mont-Dore. Never disappointed, always a warm welcome, varied and refined cuisine, quality meats, excellent aligot and truffade, and we're never hungry again. The biggest plus: the service, professional from both the owner and the waiter—"essential," discreet, efficient, and attentive. We dedicate at least one of our 5 stars to them. These people (the waiter, the owner, and the chef, whom we met by chance) are truly a holy trinity in this calm and family-friendly place. This weekend, we went two days in a row. Looking forward to next time! You're doing a great job, keep it up, thank you.
