Another enchanting experience at the Bistrot, the cuisine is delicious and delicate with attentive service, it's a pleasure to return!

A must-try, a quest for unforgettable flavors and pairings. A major flaw is the lack of tablecloths or runners; wet bottles or used cutlery that have to be placed directly on the table aren't very hygienic.

An excellent meal...as always! Refined dishes with consistently surprising flavors. Efficient and friendly service. Can't wait to return.

As long-time Bordier fans, the bistro was one of our main destinations in Saint-Malo. The cooking was outstanding: my lobster menu was precise, imaginative and exceptional from beginning to end. The bespoke vegetarian plate for my wife was equally impressive, combining varied preparations, textures and great finesse. A special thank you to chef Steve Delamaire and his team for their outstanding work. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to the same standard. The butter tasting was explicitly listed only with a menu unavailable that day. When we asked about an alternative, the waiter simply opened the menu and tapped the relevant section. Rather than briefly guiding us through the options, he seemed irritated and disengaged. The same happened when we asked about a vegetarian dish. My wife had to ask repeatedly which vegetables would be served and how they would be prepared. The increasingly irritated response made her feel very uncomfortable. Only after repeated requests did the waiter ask the kitchen—despite the excellent plate they ultimately created. It was far more than just “vegetables.” Another member of staff was later friendly, engaged and made an effort to explain the courses. Overall, however, there was little attention, no offer of further drinks and no enquiry about how we had enjoyed the food. The kitchen clearly puts great thought into its dishes and delivers exceptional work. It is therefore all the more disappointing when the service fails to convey that standard to the guests. This not only diminished our experience but also did a disservice to the kitchen team’s work.

A lovely evening, the food was delicious, the staff very friendly. We will definitely be back, and soon.

We chose the signature menu. A bit disappointing. The broth was cold. The lobster tail was rubbery, so probably not freshly caught. The sauces, however, were excellent.

Another excellent lunch. We're never disappointed! Great value for money and a very warm welcome.

Disappointed. I expected more considering that it has a 1-day menu and that locals are supposed to go there. I didn't go out hungry, but I still looked under everyone's plates on the way to the car to see what they were eating... maybe other days are better.

Everything was great, the food was excellent. The service was impeccable and genuinely kind. I highly recommend it.
