Passing through Saint-Malo again, we had lunch, once more at Jean's Bistro. The dishes were excellent and the value for money was very good. Far from the tourist traps, don't hesitate to choose this bistro-style brasserie. The wine by the glass is excellent and the fish is cooked to perfection, which isn't always the case in restaurants. We'll be back on our next visit. See you soon!

We came to eat the famous Coquilles de Saint Jacques, but it was out of season (winter). However, we were pleased with the fish and pork we ate. Delicate and flavorful, with perfectly grilled vegetables. For dessert, a decent lemon tart.

Unpleasant treatment especially from one of the female staff, a kind of ‘colonel’ approach. Sharp behaviour.

A small, authentic spot with an old-fashioned bistro atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the owner is welcoming and offers excellent advice on his products (wines, cheeses, etc.). Kudos to the chef for the delicious and flavorful dishes from appetizer to dessert; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! A must-try within the city walls. Reservations are recommended.

We visited with family on April 23, and all four of us enjoyed the evening menu with different choices.
The food was beautifully presented, delicious, and perfectly portioned. The manager was exceptionally attentive, anticipating our needs with charm and humor.
This topped off an already perfect evening in Saint-Malo, made even better by the exceptional sunny weather.
The whole experience was pure joy!
I’ll definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting.
