Restaurant in a magnificent setting, offering top-notch cuisine.
We also thank the waitress for her warm welcome and very pleasant service. We came with our Belgian Malinois, who was accepted without any problems and even had his own water bowl.
We highly recommend it.

An excellent place to eat! The setting is magnificent, surrounded by nature, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dishes are generous, made with high-quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. Special mention goes to the rib-eye steak and the truffade, which were absolutely delicious! The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

Passing through on a cycling tour of the Great Crossing of the Massif Central, Les 500 Diables in Moneaux was a very pleasant surprise for accommodation. We had booked a double room with breakfast. The setting is idyllic and peaceful, the room extremely comfortable, impeccably clean and cool (even though we were there during a heatwave – late June 2026). A very warm welcome and good Wi-Fi connection (essential as there was little cell service). No comment on the restaurant, which was closed that evening (we had been informed and given an alternative). A very good place to stay.

Beautiful, relaxing place. The truffade was very good, the frog legs weren't exceptional, but the salad with just a proper vinaigrette dressing and a touch of balsamic would make all the difference.

Hello, the place is very nice! The welcome and service were great too!
One small complaint about the portion sizes. We ordered frog legs, and there were only about a dozen for a main course, which is just enough. And the Truffade: not enough charcuterie. Even though I'm not a big eater, there wasn't enough in terms of both quantity and quality. The charcuterie wasn't up to par for the area! It tasted like it had been bought pre-packaged.
What a shame!
