Philippe from the group of 6 bikers The best place for a motorcycle trip! 🏍️ A true biker haven worthy of the name. The booking management is top-notch: the team is attentive and adapts to all needs (they found space for our 6 motorcycles in their garage despite another group being present, and managed our schedules and meals to suit our needs). We almost felt at home! As for the prices? Unbeatable value for money that defies all competition. The welcome on site is incredibly warm, with a smiling and helpful team. As for the food, the evening meals are excellent, varied, and showcase local specialties. Special mention for the packed lunches: simple, hearty, and perfect for the day's twisty rides. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

Three nights from May 25th to 28th, 2026, initially as three couples and then as two couples. We thoroughly enjoyed Le Grillon for the comfort of its rooms, the breakfast, the convenient parking, and the quality of the homemade evening meals prepared with local products. The hotel is located right next to the lake. Chambon-sur-Lac is close to many places to visit, including the Puy de Sancy, Puy de Dôme, the Cézallier volcanic plateau, Saint-Nectaire, Lac Pavant, Lac Aydat, and La Bourboule. A big thank you to the entire team at Le Grillon who contributed to the success of our stay.

I've been there several times, most recently the weekend of May 8th. The rooms and bedding were impeccable. Excellent meals (kudos to the chef!). The waitress was fantastic and incredibly attentive to the guests. There's a secure garage for motorcycles. It's very well located for riding in the Chaîne des Puys mountain range, and close to the lake for leisurely strolls after a meal (the truffade was amazing! 😅). The owners are very friendly and helpful; I wish them great success with their brand-new spa chalets above the hotel. Looking ahead, a little refresh of the rooms would be in order, if I may suggest. Perfect welcome and location, room for three people with a balcony. Cozy and friendly atmosphere, generous homemade meals, ideal breakfast for hikers 😉

Lovely hotel, very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, well-decorated with good bedding and a pleasant bathroom. We received a very warm welcome.

What did we love about our stay? Everything. From the welcome to the setting, being able to park the motorcycle without any problems, not to mention the restaurant which delighted our taste buds 🤗😍😋
