The place needs no description… magnificent setting, magnificent location and stratospheric location… at the foot of Strasbourg Cathedral with a calm, zen-like pace of service and staff attentive to each customer, whether inside or on the terrace, with the same quality of friendliness and professionalism.

We go there from time to time, but it's always good.

A warm welcome, a great atmosphere, I go there quite regularly and have never been disappointed. I love their duck fillet with orange sauce and dauphinoise potatoes.

A lovely place to eat Alsatian and traditional dishes. It's just a little cramped. We took advantage of the special offer on the vol-au-vent; they were really delicious and surprisingly light. Afterwards, I was a little disappointed with my crème brûlée. But I would gladly return to try other dishes.

It was recommended to us by a local, and I must say she wasn't wrong. We tried all the typical local dishes, everything was truly delicious, but absolutely must-try, including the queen's dish. The waiter, whose name I don't remember, was very kind, didn't make us feel bad about our language barrier, and recommended other places to go. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, he was wearing glasses. He deserves a 10 out of 10. He does his job well and welcomes customers, making them feel at home. We also drank the wine he recommended, a Pinout Noir, and he was fair about the price. I recommend it to anyone in Strasbourg who wants to try typical local dishes. I thank the waiter again for the fantastic experience he gave us. I'm honest about the price of the whole dinner.

Excellent service. The waiter was very patient with us, actively assisting us in choosing the wine, giving me three wines to taste, and helping our grandson change his dish upon request. A warm atmosphere, as usual. Unfortunately, the "Bratkartofeln" (braised pork knuckles) weren't as good as last year. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience, and we will return. I highly recommend Chaleusese to anyone who enjoys traditional Alessaco dishes.
