Family meal in this place that we have known for many years. The cuisine is no longer the same although it is good. It’s a shame not to use Alsatian tableware for this emblematic place in Strasbourg.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant on winter days, because the people treat you kindly. The food is very good, that pork leg in beer sauce was juicy, soft, very delicious.

Restaurant réputé pour ses bouchées à la reine mais comme la carte proposait des moules/frites … on s’est régalé ! Pour le dessert la « forêt noire » est excellente, ne passez pas à côté ! Le service est vraiment sympa ça fait qu’on y passe aussi un bon moment.

La taverne des Serruriers

01/12/2024: An excellent tarte flambée (mushroom gratin) which we enjoyed! Special mention for Chloé, an adorable waitress, whose kindness contrasts pleasantly with certain receptions that are sometimes a little cold in Alsace! The glowing reindeer in the corner adds a truly charming decorative touch. THANKS :)
