Aux Couleurs Gourmandes sur Castres

Discovered by chance during our travels. We were incredibly lucky to get a table. And what a table it was! Starter, main course (a beef chuck steak bourguignon style that was to die for), and an extraordinary lemon meringue tart. Passing through Mazamet without planning to eat there is a serious mistake ☺.

We had a truly wonderful time at our table. We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, just passing through. From appetizer to dessert, it was pure bliss! Everything was beautifully prepared. The Saint Marcellin cheese, the beef chuck (prepared like a beef bourguignon), and the lemon tart (on puff pastry!) were all excellent. Kudos to the warm welcome, the service, and the delicious food. A place to remember for next time and to recommend to everyone. P.S.: The dining room is lovely! And it's best to make a reservation.

The food is still incredible. Jennifer and Thomas take such good care of us, and it shows every time. It's both hearty and refined—what more could you ask for? Good wine? Pleasant service, a setting perfect for relaxing? Oh, well, actually, it has all that too 😉

The welcome was excellent, the place is timeless yet so pleasant. A complete change of scenery from the street outside. A wonderfully cozy atmosphere thanks to their covered terrace. And the food is excellent, homemade.

We had a wonderful family meal at this restaurant. We enjoyed lunch on the charming, shaded patio, a truly delightful, peaceful, and very pleasant spot. The manager is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely attentive to her customers. As for the chef, he's a true culinary virtuoso! The dishes are delicious, refined, and prepared with great passion. A fantastic discovery, with high-quality cuisine and a warm welcome. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend this restaurant.

A real treat! We were treated like royalty in the dining room or on the lovely veranda, and our eyes were filled with anticipation as we read the menu. We weren't disappointed! The cuisine was inventive, light, fragrant, and beautifully presented, and the owner took great care of each and every guest! Bravo! ✨
